The lobster gratinée (limited time menu) and the baked brie are a must try. Wide selection of drinks and any classics not listed on the menu can be made by request as well. Customer service is unsurpassed. I've been here a number of times and the staff are always very personable and accommodating. On my last visit, Drew looked after me and my partner and made sure we had everything we needed to our liking, and remained present and close by for any other queries and requests throughout the night. If I may add one final tip, I would say do NOT skip dessert. You're welcome!

We went there for Mother's Day and our server went above and beyond our expectations. I just mentioned that my steak was more on the well done side instead of medium, not really expecting anything other than a sympathetic ear. A member of the kitchen staff brought me a steak right off the grill not even 5 minutes later. Drinks were topped off all dinner, kids were kept happy... Just a wonderful experience. Thank you!

I was a little concerned about how the meals would travel from the keg to our house after my husband picked them up. But I had absolutely no issues! the meals were perfect, the food was delicious! when I called the keg to ask questions prior to pick up, they were more than accommodating. it was an absolutely perfect celebration dinner. Thank you to Tim and his team for ensuring that our experience was above and beyond. The St. James Keg has a place in my heart as it was somewhere I used to go and spend time with my mum before she passed. Now that I’m retired, I know the memories can endure and continue based on last nights experience. Thank you so much for making this milestone simply scrumptious. .

The first steak was cooked well done when I wanted medium rare!!! The second steak came out rare!! So disappointing!!! I feel like when Cara Corporation bought out The Keg, the standards went down!! When we lived in Winnipeg 5 years ago and we lived here for 8 years I never sent a steak back!! The service was amazing but I feel like the quality went down hill!! It was always perfect so sadly I won’t be coming back ever again!!

She explained the menu and was very sweet. The food was well made. The baked brie was so creamy and the lobster feature appy was so rich and cheesy! It was the first time we had chicken in a resto that was not dry. The salmon was very yummy too! Overall great experience and will definitely be back.

Calamari was also great, not greasy. A good amount of option for accompaniments for the meal. Start to finish we were very happy for our anniversary dinner. Thank you :)

Would suggest either making a reservation or place yourself on the virtual line as the wait was a tad long. Wish they would have asked my family if we would like a booth, but overall was very pleased with our dining experience.
