We don't have one in Temiskaming Shores so it was great to find the shelving I needed, they made the cuts so I was excited about not having to do it myself.

Quinn at the customer service desk was fantastic at returning my Dewalt roofing and utility knife that was defective. He was very friendly and is a good example to the other staff there.

Today my wife and I went to buy a refrigerator that the store had on sale. It was a store special at $3295. Since we were in the market for a whole new kitchen we decided to buy a new stove and dishwasher while we were there and have them all delivered at the same time. We were also about to buy a new washer and dryer too... We are talking close to a 10k sale. After getting all of the info from the floor models, looking them up, selling us on extended warranty, we were told they didn't have the fridge. That's fine to us as we were buying ahead of time for a future reno. We just wanted the deal. As it turns out, they can't even order the fridge from the supplier. Needless to say the inability to get the fridge at the advertised price killed the whole deal. Home Depot shouldn't have the items on the floor at a SALE PRICE if they can't follow through. There was no guarantee that we would get their advertised price when they were able to get it. No offer to call if they were able to order,. Just told to drop in occasionally to see if it was available. Take the signs down for things you can't supply. Remove them from the floor. This is a common sense move to keep people from trying to buy things you can't supply. We will probably go elsewhere when we decide on the items again. Edit After posting this I was requested to call a support with a gift card. 1 day later I got a call from the store saying I could order the fridge at the sale price.

After a terrible experience with The Brick - we drove over to Home Depot - found the washer - sales associate assisted - ordered Tuesday arrived Friday - Fast service and delivery team members hooked up washer. We had to call for service (nothing to do with Home Depot nor the delivery service) this was the washer issue itself - the QC was not done on this washer prior to shipment from the Supplier the drain hose had a pin hole. Washers - do a test run with just water make sure all is good and leveled. This was settled with warranty group and technician. Inconclusion, Home Depot thumbs up ?

I had the best Customer Service experience today with Gary! He helped me over the phone for an item I was looking for everywhere and was having such a hard time finding prior to calling him. Other stores let me down with the little to no effort to find what I needed and even after I called them in advance and was told there would be several in stock on my arrival, the other store couldn't find any once I arrived. When I called the Home Depot though, Gary went through the snow to find what I needed as it was in the garden centre and out of season. He dug out two bags for me and had it available for my dad to pick up for me. He even used part of his lunch to help my dad find the item and assist him. Above and beyond service after receiving very bad service elsewhere. THANK YOU GARY!! Made my day! :) Let's give Gary a raise! Haha ?

As a carpenter I went to the pro desk and the department supervisor Patricia was excellent. Very knowledgeable, polite, and knew her products very well. Answered all my questions and educated me on products I knew nothing about. I shall be a repeat customer for life as long as she is there.
