They must have enough staff to cater to each and every shopper individually. The staff couldn't be more helpful. If your looking to find something out of the ordinary they'll find it and order it in. They definitely have this business figured out! Today we had Austin help us and he, just like the rest of the staff couldn't be more helpful!
G	G P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved back to the island fairly recently and for some reason I was concerned about whether there would be good fishing stores here. I guess a good fishing tackle store is important to me, because as long as there are tons of lures I've never tried, and tons of tackle I don't own yet, it's easier for me to believe that the reason I came home with no fish for the thirtieth time this year is because I don't have the right gear. Consequently, Harbour Chandler is awesome. They have all kinds of gear - it's one of the best saltwater stores I've ever seen and I find the prices really competitive. You can buy endless amounts of new hardware and still be searching for that magic combo to slay lings or springs. There is one major downside, though: if you talk to the staff in the fishing department, they give you such clear advice that you completely run out of excuses for failure. These guys got me going with downriggers, they pointed me at fish, they showed me charts and picked out tackle. I literally have no way to justify a fishing trip that doesn't produce meat anymore. Despite this obvious flaw, I still look forward to going there. I try not to go as much these days because occupancy is limited thanks to Covid19, and I just end up in a trance while people wait frustrated outside. It's a meditative place for a certain type of guy. Still, I can usually find an excuse to go. I was on the water for work five days a week last year, and their selection of ground tackle, ropes and lines, and PFDs kept me going more often than not. Bottom line: it's my favourite store even though they robbed me of all my best fishing excuses.

The online has had a few hiccups, but they still get it done for you and are amazing at fixing any issues and honest. I placed an order on Black Friday and for some reason the order wouldn’t process and said it was pending until today. So I phoned and someone said phone back Monday, but I chose to go back online to reorder the product as it was still at sale price and I left a comment about the previous order number and why I was reordering. Not long after I got a call from Denise to inform me that someone else had picked up the only item that was on sale even though I had purchased it first. Then Denise informed me that they were going to honour my purchase and order one in for me at the quoted sale price. I was absolutely shocked and stoked as I was not expecting this, and they could’ve just said too bad. Harbour Chandler, you guys rock and have my business!! Thanks
