This is a terrific restaurant. The food was amazing, we got the festival as a starter, it was sweet and moist, amazing. For the mains we had the oxtail and curry goat . Both were terrific, and were cooked well with an amazing sauce and great flavour. The service was slightly slow, and the waitress did not check in with us often, but the vibe of the restaurant was nice.

First time at the The Diner's Corner, (I was walking down Yonge St. with my daughter after a 25k hike down from Hwy. 7) and spotted this inviting restaurant. Very friendly staff and atmosphere (AC could have been a bit cooler). Ordered Jerk Shrimp as an appetizer, followed by Curried Goat for me and Brown Chicken Curry for my daughter. The Jerk Shrimp was fantastic, spicy (not for the faint of palate) but you could taste the fruitiness of the pepper and it enhanced rather then hid the taste of the perfectly barbequed shrimp. Superb. My Curried Goat was melt in your mouth tender with a thick and wonderful sauce, well complemented by the rice and peas. My daughter loved the brown chicken curry. Both the dishes were mildly spiced, and a perfect follow up to the superhot shrimp. ended with complementary "cinnamon rolls" (dont know the name) which were light and fluffy and not to sweet, really ending the lunch on a sweet note. Definitely will be returning to the Diner's Corner for great Jamaican food and ambiance (loved the music also).

My first time at The Diner’s Corner and ordered their signature jerk chicken. It tasted good, just wanted a bit bigger portion of the chicken (its never enough). HAHA.

This is a Very Clean and NICE West Indian/Caribbean restaurant located on the busiest street in Toronto and province of Ontario Canada. Their presentation of my meal was so GREAT, that I forgot to take a photo of it; before I devoured it! I will try to remember on my next visit here for more photos. It was my first time here for our 2nd BRAC meeting and thanks to our pioneer Sheena T., it did NOT disappoint for the location and the food. Continued success to the establishment and I will be back whenever I come into to Toronto for a different taste next time.

Very fresh and tasty! I love the festivals! The staff is super friendly! The wait time for the food is a bit long, understandable considering the food is freshly made.

Cozy and friendly staff. Ordered Jerk Chicken (White Meat). Chicken was moist had a great sear, jerk sauce wasn’t too spicy, rice and beans was perfect and the Festival tasted like the ones in Jamaica only thing is I wish the dish came with two for the price. Will definitely be back.
