★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jerk King is a tiny spot on Bloor St. W. They had a lineup but it was small. The fellow in front of me ordered 10 beef patties and the woman behind me ordered an oxtail dish. This felt very promising so I ordered 2 spicy beef patties and a typical Jamaican drink, Ting which is like a spicy and fizzy grapefruit soft drink. It cost $9.80
I've had lovely soft spicy beef patties in the past but these were heavy and hard. Sorry Jerk King, the inside was tasty but I bit off and threw aside an inch or 2 in order to get to the centre. There you go I had to travel to enjoy my beef patties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love their food, affordable and delicious. They always have a really good jerk chicken and coleslaw, they open late. If you’re in the city want good and cheap Jamaican food. This is the spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a jerk chicken wrap through Uber, a I got large potatoes!! Why? And there was barely any chicken in the wrap. My friend got under cooked potatoes in a different order.
Looks like the quality and standards have dropped significantly. I'm Disappointed. Will be dropping Jerk King from our regular list of places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every food item is delicious!! Their Jerk chicken is the best in the city and so is their Fried chicken. But i am not a fan of the oxtail. They have wraps now and it is amazing and definitely will keep on going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered jerk chicken with boneless white meat for $17. It’s way too spicy, and the sauce is a little bit sweet does not taste like jerk chicken at all. This really is an insult to Jamaican food! A Jamaican did not make this. 100%. The sauce is literally store bought in a jar. Super disappointed !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always seen a huge line up here and wanted to get myself one of their bestsellers. After having their fried chicken with rice and beans, I know understand why they are a crowd puller. The food was yumm and good portion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had two meat eaters and one vegetarian in our party. The meat eaters thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the jerk chicken roti however felt that the chunks of potatoes were too large and too much in quantity (see picture as everyone took their leftover chunks out and placed them in a single container). The vegetarian in the group basically received an entire roti with these giant potato chunks with a very small amount of chickpeas and spinach. I do not recommend this place for vegetarians at all as you will be eating a meal of potatoes that you won’t be able to eat much of because of its larger size. Overall this was not suitable for us for a family dinner as the vegetarians had little to eat other than potatoes, however the meat eaters will likely order again.
