I have ordered the butter chicken roti a few times and it seems to be pretty inconsistent. The 1st time I got it there was barely anything inside of it and the folds on the roti were thicker than what it was actually packed with. The 2nd one I had was bang on and the 3rd 1 had shards of bone in it which actually cut my mouth ? One time my friend came with me for the 1st time and they messed up his order. Before ever ordering from here, I had tried to contact them several times by phone to inquire about some things and yet over several days time I called and called and nobody answered the phone. The store has absolutely no hours posted inside or outside. It seems very disorganized. One time I asked for the promo that they had on the poster and was told that they dont offer that promo/don't have those items like ok why have it posted then? I wish there was another place within walking distance where I could get butter chicken roti but I haven't found one yet so I guess I'll be going here a couple more times until then.

I just ate a saag paneer roti from here and it was the worst roti I’ve ever had. The flatbread was too thick, dry, and felt like it was either undercooked or stale or both. The curry was fine but nothing special, a bit flavourless which is strange given the spice. I don’t even understand what could happen to make a roti taste like this. Super disappointing!!

Used to be really good and consistent across the stores. Butter chicken is completely weird. Very very sweet. Tikka Masala was still flavourful. All the rotis had hardly any meat. Sad.

I had the pleasure of picking up take out of your signature BCR on Friday evening. Let me just say. Y-U-M-M-Y!!!!!! It was everything I needed and more. The chicken was delightfully cooked and tender. The gravy was thick and full of flavour. I could distinguish the different spices and the heat. Absolutely delish! I am chewing my last bites as I'm typing this review and I couldn't wait to finish it so I could re-order. Well done!!!!!

Just finished a butter chicken roti from here (Bloor St Location) and it was extremely disappointing. The portion size was tiny compared to what it used to be. There was barely any filling or meat inside the shell. I ate the entire thing and it did not fill me up, which is a first for me. The sauce tasted like a cross between President's choice Butter chicken sauce and something from Chef Boy-R-Dee. It was also way too sweet and not nearly spicy enough compared to rotis I've had from them in the past. The only thing that has not gone severely downhill about this roti is the price, which is the same as it used to be for an amazing roti that was twice the size. This chain used to be awesome. I first had it at the College/Bathurst location (which burned down and never reopened) and then at the Queen/Ossington location, then at the Bloor/Dovercourt location. The rotis were always super filled with tons of meat and sauce and were hard to finish in one sitting. The sauce tasted different from any other place I had tried and so I assume it was home made. They also had a very aggressive level of spice. Mild-Medium was plenty spicy and probably too spicy for the average person, which is great in my opinion. I don't know if this place is owned by the same people that started it, or if they've changed chefs or recipes or just decided to cheap out on the product and coast on their previous reputation. In any case, I won't be going back and will definitely not recommend it to others as I have in the past. I'm willing to put up a different review if I hear something from the owner to the effect that the person in the kitchen today just had a stroke and forgot how to make the roti and if I see them return to their previous glory. Until then, avoid at all costs, unless you want to pay top dollar to be very disappointed.

Pretty disappointed - ordered a mild mutter paneer and the peas were undercooked, practically raw. Also the the dish had very little flavour. Cost me over $17 which is a joke considering 1/2 the meal was rice which costs very little - big food markup from these guys. Don't know if I'm go back again.

I don't like to write a bad review but I can honestly say that was the worst mixed vegetable korma I've ever had. The vegetables were not cooked properly, too crunchy and the sauce had zero flavour. The butter sauce in the other roti was a pass I guess but it's too sweet for my liking.

Seriously what happened to this place ?! I brought 2 Rotis home and was in shock how flat they are. Rotis are Half the size they used to be....a thin folded rectangle with a smear of sauce and a couple lumps of what I hope is chicken in this overpriced deflated pancake. If you are going to cut back on volume then give customers the choice of size and price accordingly. The flavour took a nose dive too but the price sure didnt ...:SOOOOO much sugar in the butter chicken sauce why ? And Medium spice is almost no spice. So dissappointed. Wont be coming back to this location. The staff were nice, i'm sorry they have to serve such sub par food.
