An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

And as a person with celiac disease the joy I have right now as I eat my fries and gravy is real!!! It’s delicious!! And the care and attention by the kitchen is first rate. Dedicated fryer people!!!! Do you feel me??? Get here ASAP and enjoy the best food! The number of TVs doesn’t hurt either ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service, fabulous food and fun atmosphere!! Highly recommend this place. Gordon was so good to us. We loved our tour of the bowling alley, which we had no idea existed! We will for sure be back again. Also, they use pebble ice in their drinks….?? Best ice around!

Food was delicious, the staff were great and the silverware was so cool!
(Hockey sticks and golf clubs.)
Good place to watch any game with the many big screens.
This place has games, roof top terrace and a bowling alley.
Quite amazing!
