An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the best time at brew! We had Mckenna as our server, and she’s hands down the most respectful, easy to talk to, and the most polite girl I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Had remarkable service and food. Her smile lights up brew house for sure! Definitely will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We met up with some friends (who went to the Brewhouse for the first time) and were served by the lovely Cassie O. The food was delicious. My hubby had the COBB salad and was so full, I had the Buffalo Chicken Dip which was so yummy. Our friends had the Brisket Shepherd's Pie (which was reported as super delicious) and the Stir Fry (which was also delicious). We ended our meals with dessert (they had Chocolate cake which was OMG good) and hubby and I had the Caramel Chocolate Poutine. Wow, it was all great and Cassie was an awesome server. Highly recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pic of the Brewhouse’s entry way bench. Why does it look like this? Because that’s what extreme customer service looks like.
Here’s what happened:
My wife was fiddling with her ring and accidentally bumped into the bench as we entered. Her ring flew off her hand and rolled behind the bench, which is connected to the wall. We had no way of reaching back there.
She asked the host if they had a hook or something - but the manager and other servers immediately grabbed power tools and started ripping apart their bench. 3 ladies who all had jobs to do on a busy Sat night made this their top priority. It took them like half an hour, but they didn’t complain once. They were so happy to help because they recognized how important that ring was to my wife.
I am so impressed with this team. We didn’t have to beg or plead, because they were willing to go above and beyond for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of great staff at the Fort Sask location but one in particular stands out for me and that's Rachelle who runs the bar like a well oiled machine! Her endless dedication to providing great customer service combined with her upbeat personality always makes for an enjoyable and comical visit! I'm from Fort Sask and now live in Edmonton but I still make the drive out just to be served by Rachelle. I have to mention Victoria and Bridgette who also both do a fantastic job when it comes to providing great service! Now with that many great staff always providing such great service(and who are all super nice people as well!) it's pretty easy to see why I keep coming back so thanks ladies!
