★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To clarify prior to reacting to this 1-star review, we walked out before ordering so this is not a review regarding the quality of the food at The Burger Shop.
This is a review for anyone with dietary restrictions that are interested in trying out a local Bracebridge option. When I went to The Burger Shop, as we sat down, I made sure to let the server aware that I have severe anaphylactic allergies to dairy and all nuts. The server seemed confused between the difference of an allergy to all nuts and solely peanuts. They said they did not know what food on the menu would safe. I made it clear, that having nuts or dairy in the building is fine as long as the allergens I said were not direct ingredients in any of the meals but she had no idea which foods could be allergy-friendly. In 2022, being aware of which allergens are in any given meal on the menu should be standard practice, as it has for me in the serving jobs I had worked. I am not blaming the server for this, because it is absolutely not their fault they were not adequately trained on what to do in the event of dietary restrictions/allergies and that is entirely a fault of the management staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiance and I drive up from Waubaushene area to come here as the food is amazing and is our favourite lunch spot. The people who work there are amazing and service is great. Food is so good and the portions are amazing. Would offer 6 stars if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to try this restaurant: the fries were great homemade ??but not much and they forgot my gravy no big deal now the burger idea was great but they cheated out on the arugula and the meat was so thin it was like they warmed it up and burnt it for $14.50 I expected a least 1/4 pound of meat it was so thin and burnt I was very disappointed I could have went to a fast food place for half the price and had more food We chose this place because they have homemade burgers We should open a burger place my husband makes a better burger. Thestaff was very friendly and food was fast maybe too fast
I never complain about restaurants but it really upset me ?because after spending $40.00 included tax and tip the food was burnt and cheaply done ?
