The Beauty House Downtown

I’ve been coming here for the past year for eyelash extensions. Its very clean and the staff are all very professional and friendly. I’ve been doing hybrid lashes with Kate and she does an amazing job every time. I ask for a “natural” look and I always leave happy :)

I have been going to the Beauty House for lash extensions for years now. Kate makes my lashes look amazing every time, and they always last for a long time. The lash extensions also always gracefully fall out between sessions, and I frequently get compliments on them even when I am due for a touchup. The staff at the front desk are also always very friendly and welcoming!

I have been going to The Beauty House since July when I moved to Toronto. Everyone is so kind and excited to see you when you arrive. I am so lucky to have found Jenna for my eyelash extensions. She is seriously the best. Jenna is efficient, listens to what I want and always does an amazing job. Our life chats are great too! Go see Jenna, you won't be disappointed!

Giselle was superbly professional and I had a great experience. She explained what to expect before, during and after the procedure which I really appreciated. I love my enhanced eyebrows. I had never been to the Beauty House before but I will definitely be going back!

This was my first time coming to The Beauty House (downtown) as I wasn’t really happy with my brows and wanted to try somewhere new. I can honestly say I’ve never been happier with my brows after a tint and shape. Jenna listened to me and did exactly what I wanted! She’s incredible and I will definitely be back again. Also, the staff are super friendly which is a great bonus. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Thank you!!

Its been about 7 years since I started getting my lashes done, with a brief pause during the pandemic. Once things became safe again, I needed a salon near by where I currently live and found the Beauty House. I've going here for about 6mo now, and am consistently happy with my extensions. Of course, a lot of what makes them good is 1. The tech I see, Jenna, who always washes my lashes well and takes her time to do them well, and 2. I am SO meticulous about caring for them. The application is very seemless, I find my eyes don't water like they did at previous places and the cleaning is done so gently - no pulling. The finished look is always lightweight and beautiful. As a dog owner and regular runner (about 144k a month), I am always out and about without makeup, and love that I can count on my lashes to make me feel beautiful even when I'm finishing up a sweaty run! I should note, I do not wear other makeup on my eyes. If I do wear any makeup, it's only bb cream/skin powders + lip, no eyeliner or eyeshadow, so my experience does not include using make up remover in the eye region. I get hybrid volume lashes, which are a little more pricey. I like the look and don't feel like I need anything else, whether it be for work, pub night with friends, or the company cocktail party. As other reviews mention, the staff is so professional and kind - I ALWAYS feel so welcome, plus the salon is central, beautiful, and clean. It's a lovely experience, I recommend giving it a go. A couple of the other staff members know me by name, which is really thoughtful and sweet. After seeing some reviews, I want to add: be honest with your tech about your needs and lifestyle prior to picking a type and shape - then, they can help share tips and tricks to maintaining your lashes that work for you. They do this for a living and know how to help you get the most out of them/make them last :)

I go here every 3 weeks to see Kate for my lashes. I’ve been visiting her for months now and she has always been attentive and precise to how I like my lashes done. I’m amazed that my lashes always come out consistent & fabulous… and they last a really long time between sessions. I always enjoy my relaxing time with Kate and seeing her positive, friendly face :) Would recommend going to her for any lash style you need!

I decided to try this spot out to have my eyelash extensions done. I took a break from having the extensions on and have previously had lash extensions consistently over the last 4 years. This location was beautiful and the initial technician who applied my lashes did a great job of making them really dramatic but my second technician filled them horribly. When I let them know I was unhappy about how some of my lashes were pointing down, some were straight and she stuck lashes on my eyelid (I also sent them the same photos here), the tech said I must have had heat exposure… it’s October… I had showered prior to my appointment and did not shower again until the next day as I know how to properly take care of my lash extensions. They had me come in a couple days later and I assumed to rectify the situation but she only took off some of the lashes she had stuck on my eyelids. They booked me in a week after this initial fill to again try to fix this. A couple days before, the manager called to speak to me again and also put blame that I must’ve exposed my lashes to heat. I ended up cancelling this correction appointment as this did not sit well with me. At this point I don’t agree with providing any business to a company like this with such lack of integrity and accountability. Neither should you :) you’ve been warned!
