A group of us accidentally booked the wrong dates - we immediately emailed to ask if the 3 day stay could be switched by one day earlier. Management responded saying that there would be a $400 charge to change the dates! This unprofessional action is embarrassing to the company - attempting to undercut us behind the scenes. What kind of reputation is this building for Terrace Beach Resort?

While I cannot comment on the accommodations, my review is due to an unfortunate experience I had with the management at Terrace Beach. I had a reservation via Airbnb which I requested to reschedule due to a family member's concern around travelling at this time given the new covid variant; I even offered to make our refund subject to the resort being able to rebook the dates of our stay with a new guest. At first, the resort offered to rebook us with a $100 penalty, which we accepted. On that same day, however, as we exchanged messages to find new dates, management suddenly changed their mind and let us know we were not eligible to reschedule or to receive any refund whatsoever. We were confused by the resort's initial offer to rebook us and later backing out. Even though we asked the resort to consider refunding us partially IF they managed to book our dates with new guests, they were unwilling to work with us and we ultimately lost $1,500 on this reservation.

Absolutely beautiful resort, great location easy parking huge roomβ€˜s huge patios, was a little unique with a check in process but for the price that we paid you could not find anything nearly as nice as this, I am overwhelmed by the natural beauty and how well the resort is kept up and how nice it is in the rooms, the linens and beds are extremely comfortable and clean, thanks!

we were gifted a nights stay as a wedding gift then covid hit, travel restrictions were in place and we were unable to to use our stay during this time. now that restrictions have been lifted we attempted to book a stay it took us over a week to make contact with anyone, when we did the first time they said they would call us back, no one ever did. finally after emails, facebook messages and multiple phone calls we were sent an email stating that the resort was bought out and the new owners will not be honoring any gift certificates. so not only are they pour at client communications they are deceitful and take good hard working peoples money.

Very poorly managed. Called to cancel on short notice due to a child with COVID, was told over the phone not to worry we would get a full refund as had booked it within the last 48 hours. Call center employee overseas takes your information assuring you of a callback that never comes. Very non communicative, did not return multiple phone calls or emails. Despite being told we would receive a full refund, they finally agreed to only refund our cleaning fee- they have withheld over $400. Called the City of Ucluelet as they DO NOT have a business license and the Better Business Bureau.

Such a beautiful place, we stayed in #7 the salty dog and the view was incredible, listening to the waves each night and waking to the view and the sounds each morning was definitely worth it. Lots of great trails close by to explore and see the beautiful coast.I’m only giving 4 stars as it had a few minor inconvenience’s.. if you require privacy inside your cabin then this is not the unit for you as there are no doors for bedrooms or complete walls including the bathroom so you hear any sounds from all rooms. The wood flooring has a few rough spots that we caught our feet on several times as we don’t wear shoes inside (we’re Canadian lol) and for 3 adults for 5 days we only had a roll and a half of toilet paper supplied. The jetted tub was a nice touch but it was very loud and felt like it was going to vibrate right through the floor! Sitting on the deck it would have been nice to have clean glass to look through as the chairs are low and we were surprised to find the surrounding glass to be so dirty.

A nice series of cabins on the Ucluelet peninsula, close by to some rocky beaches as well as a beautiful little walking loop that takes you to an old lighthouse. It served as our home for 4 days while we surfed in nearby tofino, which is about a 30-40 minute drive away. The place was clean and cozy, and the management was very responsible to our needs, fixing issues within the same day.
