Brookevale is a gem! The owners are extremely accommodating - I rented an rv that was too big for my site and they switched me no problem! The beach is the nicest in ossoyoos and the family atmosphere is fun without being rowdy. They hold little competitions - Canada day decorating is one example. They have many families returning year after year; mine included! I'll be coming here every year and hope my kids continue the tradition with their own families. The facilities are always clean and in good working order and the campground has lots of options depending on your needs. Thanks for being great Brookevale ?

We have always enjoyed staying at Brookvale Holiday resort. This year the updates were a very nice surprise, especially the full hook up RV sites. The people working there are always so friendly and welcoming, a real family feel. See you next time, the Armstrong's

beautifully maintained family oriented campground but the bathrooms are gross and stinky and the reservations are messy. Multiple guests had to move sites to accomodate double bookings and boat trailer parking is scarce and often overlooked when booking campers that have been coming for years. would recommend but definitely use caution and ensure ur accommodations are booked properly

Nice campground, right across the road from the water, wish I had booked earlier to get a better site as it was a little cramped on the one side and trying to get my vehicle backed into the spot was a real pain. Otherwise it's a pretty decent place.

Fast friendly check-in and reservation. Reasonably priced. Clean, private beach area. The beach area has large shade trees for those that aren't in the water. Only unfortunate, the water on the hook-up was of questionable quality and had to be boiled. The campground/play area was quiet at a reasonable time. An improvement would be to have more garbage and recycling cans around the park. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this RV resort.

Ok campground in a good location! It is more of a glorified parking lot but it’s right across from a beautiful little beach. Front desk staff was friendly. It’s a bit of a trek into town. It definitely has a more family oriented feel, but we were just passing through and it was a fine overnight stop for us as a couple. It was noisy at night because of neighbouring campers. Missing a star because the bathrooms could have been cleaner and better maintained. Also, it was very expensive for what you get (we paid $48 for a socially-not-so-distant night on cement, but there weren’t many other options when we booked.)

My FiancΓ©e and I booked a stay at this campground to try and get away from all the stresses of everyday life, we looked at the map provided in an email upon inquiry and chose a site which looked like a decent size for a tent and a truck to park with lots of room. When we arrived, it was hard to find the campground because there is a large tree growing right in front of the sign that says "Brookvale Holiday resort". The first thing we noticed was how small the camp site was, and how our tent site was crushed sandstone/rock which was very uncomfortable once we had set up the tent, it was also very dirty and dusty, we were always bringing rocks into the tent as we went in and out. We had to put the tent under a structure that originally had a picnic table underneath it in order to make the tent fit. There was also no fire pit, which is not mentioned anywhere on the website. The website also does not mention that there is no potable water, we only found out about this from the confirmation email after booking. There was a house right in the middle of the campground which gave us the feeling that we were being watched... On the map, the site location which we chose shows that it is beside a work shed, when in fact there is a trailer parked there with people living in it. One of the mornings right after we had finished eating we had the unpleasant experience of witnessing one of the individuals from the trailer urinating right in the open, this was truly disgusting to witness. The bathrooms were in decent shape, but the showers were pay per use, nowhere in the bathroom was there anything that stated how many loonies were necessary to get the shower to work. I guessed and went with just one, the shower started to work so I rushed as quickly as possible and thought I had only one minute, turns out you get two minutes for one loonie. The only major pro was the beach across the road, it was beautiful and very relaxing to sit and enjoy the view. We ended up leaving early as we were unsatisfied with our experience. For the price, this is definitely not worth it, during the busy season this would be a nightmare. Pros: Nice beach Cons: Everything else
