Also, there's a rumor that SunTerra and its group of quirky characters is the inspiration for the upcoming comedy series, "The Campground". So, if you've ever visited, or worked for, SunTerra, you may soon see yourself appearing weekly on your favorite streaming service.

Well cared for property, in spite of all the surrounding development.

1. Operators/hosts do not enforce the campground’s quiet time after 10pm. Other campers were very loud - shouting and yelling profanities. Radios were on full blast. The noise continues well past 1AM.
2. Their signs state that showers and entrance/exit gate are open at 7am but neither were open. Waited for half an hour from 7-7:30 but no one came to unlock them. Eventually called the host who was condescending stating that I had to open the gate myself. No word on the showers but had no time to wait as I planned my day so that I could shower at 7 and start my day early.
3. Photos on website are deceiving. The site is not by the beach. It is across the street from the beach. The beach is tiny and dirty compared to other areas hence I wanted to be out early to explore other parts of the lake. There’s a pool in the campsite but can’t be accessed by campers.
4. The particular site I rented was tiny. My table was just a metre away from the next camper’s table. It was also just below a road so could hear cars passing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely management and a beautiful quiet getaway for a week in the summer.
Very well equipped with all amenities as stated on their website and signs. Would love if there were a water slide, but the pool is lovely. Especially nice with this incredibly hot summer.
Will definitely be back to stay again. was not disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hosts were very attentive to taking care of any needs or concerns. Had a pizza party and they generously provided pizza to us by the pool. Nice time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced and underserviced. Water did not work at our site. Waterslides are gone and what is left is a big pile of dirt. Toilet door latch did not work. But the lady working there was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just spent 3 nights there and had a great time. We were in site #56 and had a beautiful view of the lake! The site was clean, fellow campers were friendly and Rick was very nice and awesome to deal with. Only one downfall (for us) was one night was super windy and where our site was located we had no shelter from the wind so sleeping in our tent wasn’t fun. Lol
This obviously has nothing to do with the campground in general, but just wanted to post a heads up for other people who tent.
We would definitely camp here again!
