This is the worst experience I have had in my life. The manager was so rude to us! There was no signs up about the rules of the campground and no one told us anything about them either. The manager went through our coolers and took our stuff. He took our clean dishes claiming they were dirty and because he went through the cooler all our food got wet and ruined. When we complained that he didn't tell us the rules and took our stuff wrecking our food he laughed at us and told us to leave. I have never experienced anything like this. I will never camp here again.

Been coming here since I was a kid, it's not fancy but that is why its the cheap option. The improvements of the bathrooms and showers are a lovely touch (the old ones were rough but again the price is right) I personally have not had any poor experiences with staff. Others have mentioned being fined for garbage, then don't leave items/garbage out. Animals will mess with anything that looks like a meal even if it's not Bathroom water pressure and lighting. Water pressure not great but it's a campsite not the four seasons. (pro tip: the sinks near the first set of campsites are the ones with excellent water pressure) As for the lighting in the Bathroom's near the campsites (Solar powered I believe) they aren't that bad and if you find it that way then use a flashlight! My only criticism is the shower curtains, they could be a bit better in terms of privacy. It is a risky game of 'will these stranger see my bare bottom or not?' All in all it's a great campsite for those not looking to waste money on the glitz! P.s the fog burns off wayyyyy faster compared to those lovely waterfront campgrounds

I don’t get those past bad reviews. Just got back from there, Stayed for 3 nights before labour day weekend and it was everything great. Office staff explained everything about showers closure due to Covid, hours, trail that leads to highway and bear precautions. Flush toilets working fine, portable washroom in great conditions, tap water and sink to dishes around, treed campsite very private, it remember provincial parks campsites. Airport was not a problem, heard one airplane in the morning only. Very good located, very silent at night, close to Tofino and Ucluelet. I would definitely stay back there.

This was one of the WORST places to camp ever. At 5 pm we were having dinner and received a noise compliant? I didn’t know talking was not allowed? Every day the staff would show up and get mad at as for something always threatening to kick us out when we were very cautious about our noise level after the complaint. I will never come back, the staff were very rude the campsite were way smaller than said out to be as well. I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid this campground as it was absolutely ridiculous.

Was a bit worried by all the bad reviews but this place was great. We barely had any interactions with staff and what we did was friendly. We camped end of August. Washrooms were open during the day and there were clean porta-potties to use at night which were emptied once during our 4 night stay. Campsite was clean and had sinks and drinking water that was easily accessible from the campsite. Yes showers are closed for covid reasons but that’s understandable (I’m sure they are low of staff too for so much cleaning) but there are showers at almost every beach so that’s not an issue. Heard a few airplanes but we were out at the beaches most of the day so didn’t notice that much. Location made accessing different beaches by vehicle easy. Looks like there are heavy fines for leaving garbage out etc but you’re in the wilderness so... don’t leave your garbage out! Wood was the same price as friends got from a grocery store out of town so was happy to give money to a small locally owned campground. Would totally stay here again :) Don’t be scared by bad reviews, just be respectful of hosts and nature and all is good!

Pretty camp ground, horrible experience. First off, we booked a lot that would accommodate our 30 foot trailer. We get there and the lot provided was not big enough. Luckily another family saw this and offered to swop us places as they had a bigger lot. Secondly I would NOT recommend for FAMILIES. So many young kids that just come to party - extremely loud until 3am-4am, my husband actually had to go over to multiple camp sites to tell them to quiet down as they woke up our dog and baby. Staff did not reinforce the rules, and was not friendly. Not to mention it’s a pretty expensive camp ground, $50 a night for a lot without hookups. That’s more than it is in the national parks. Bathrooms and showers were kept nice, but the outside sinks and taps barely had any flowing water.

Expensive, and essentially unregulated. Two sites flagrantly ignored the campfire ban, and loud music is the norm here (after 10 PM). The restaurant closes at 6PM, and the kiosk also closes ridiculously early. I'm finally done with this place, but they don't need to worry - they will be chock full right through the season, with or without me.

We enjoyed our time, the sites vary in size. We brought a 6 person tent, our original site was too small so we had to move. Staff were nice, check-in time is from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, gates close at 11
