★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I often fly an airplane from Boundary Bay airport (Delta) and full stop at Tofino airport to stretch my legs for 20 minutes. It's very quiet airport which I like. Landing approach is not complicated there and the runway length is a plenty. Fogs sometimes don't clear up for several days and pilots are stuck there.
Landing approach from south-east (from Qualicum/Nanaimo) is the best with variety of scenery - ice capped mountains, lakes and the Pacific Ocean.
I wish I could buy a cup of coffee there (there are no cafes or restaurants in the airport facility.)
