The worse customer experience I ever had in a bank. Poor customer service, always given excuses blaming their back office for anything. They are unable to assist customers even with the simplest issue.Poor service which I will always avoid.

The worst branch I have ever seen at TD. Incompetent staff members. They communicate something and do something. Would never recommend anyone to this branch. Had to assist the staff in spelling couple of commonly used words. Pathetic.

The staff at this branch are all awesome!! Especially the manager, Jeff Myall. I had a really complicating transaction that required me to come back a few times, but Jeff was super accommodating & understanding, and ended up resolving all of the issues with my transaction. He went above & beyond to help me. The staff at this branch were also very patient, understanding & friendly. I would give this branch an 'extremely likely' to refer to family & friends!

I don't have a problem with the branch but with telephone banking. THE WAIT TIMES ARE ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Over an hour on hold is beyond limits.

On September 1, 2021 at 11:00 am, I had the worst customer service experience at this branch that I have ever had anywhere else! I am executor of my friend's estate who recently passed away. The representative didn't explain what my options were, just proceeded to place all funds in something called an Estate Account. He didn't know how to do this so he had to call the TD helpline for assistance, which was about a forty minute wait! When I asked the representative five times if I could get statements to the assets of the estate, he said four times "I'll get you those." When I asked for the fifth time, he said, "I can't give you those"! So now I have no idea what the assets are and leaves me with no accountability for the TD bank!! This process took over two hours with a representative who stated he had never dealt with this before. Why would someone with zero experience get assigned to this sensitive task? Completely unprofessional by the representative for not asking for assistance from other representatives or supervisors at the bank. And shame on management for not training their employees better. I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth after this negative experience and have no intention to ever do any personal banking with TD once this estate matter is settled. I would give zero stars if I could.

UPDATE: Spoke with TD, and the outcome that was laid out to me was that: **Robert Kayanga** did not appropriately send the documentation over to TD's Estates department, and that because the documentation was not sent to TD's Estates department before our property was auctioned off - That there's no course of action moving forward unless I wish to hire a lawyer. Thanks TD Canada Trust, I will be swiftly moving my personal assets out of your institution. ORIGINAL POST: Came in due to close family passing away - Presented their Death Certificate & Proof of being next of kin as well as proof of executorship. 18 days ago I had handed her car over to TD Auto for repossession due to her passing away - When I gave the car over we went through the documentation together & discovered that there was Life Insurance on the Car - To cover the remaining balance on the car. I dealt with the Employee **Robert Kayanga** - Who informed me he couldn't share any details with me regarding the Life Insurance policy on the car with the blanket "Privacy Laws" statement, regardless of the fact that I presented documentation proving I was both the "Next of Kin" and the "executor" of her estate, when asked if there was any reference number or documentation I should be given regarding this, he informed me "No, but our Lawyers will contact you." I have called multiple times throughout the week, and kept getting told "They will call you." - Well today I called TD Auto to find out why I hadn't been contacted by TD regarding her Insurance policy - Only to find out Robert did not properly submit my information to them, so as of now TD is wiping their hands clean of the life insurance policy she had paid for on the car. I will never willingly do business with TD in the future, especially with this branch due to employee incompetence, which according to him with over 20 years of dealing with this - I expect better. As of Monday the car is being put up for auction - There's still over $20,000 owed on the car, and legally that money belongs to the Estate of my deceased family member, so I can reimburse the members of my family who assisted financially with the handling of the service & subsequent cremation & legal proceedings. TD is looking for ANY excuse not to pay out on my family members life insurance she had.
