Taralake Medical Clinic - Calgary

My experience was really good. Staff was so friendly and doctor Tanzeela was very knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to all my concerns and took the time to satisfy me.

Bad customer service. Please don't come to this clinic. If you call they put you on hold and forget. Even if you make an appointment your turn will come after 50 or 55 minutes. Totally unprofessional attitude. It looks like an Asian clinic where nobody value your time.

Front desk staff keep sending our all family members perception to wrong Pharmacy each time, we have to call couple of time and ask them to send the right one with fax number, on top they make excuses. They better listen clients carefully it will be helpful to them and clients also.

This is first time I went to visit this clinic. I accidentally cut my finger and it was quite late. Since my cut was deep I needed to treat it right away, most clinics were closed and the hospital would have taken too long to treat me. This medical clinic had actually closed however the receptionist, Deepshika, was extremely helpful and got me to see Dr. Muhammad Amin. He took me in and treated me right away. Very thankful !

This clinic has the WORST receptionists. How do you let a patient go to the exam room knowing that a doctor will not see you without a mask. Do they not know the protocol for the office?? Additionally, they didn't have any masks available for patients. They did not have any masks last time either for patients. The receptionist have an attitude and smirk and make witty remarks when asking for help. Some doctors are exceptionally unprofessional and do not give opportunity to ask questions. Aside from Dr. Bajwa I would not recommend any doctors at this place. Dr. Bajwa I recommend you review the receptionist as they do not know the protocol half the time and they have an unprofessional attitude towards patients. Also some doctors at the clinic Dr. Tanzila and Dr. Amin are hurting your clientele and practice as they are straight up rude and unprofessional. How do you tell a patient that they can NEVER have a condition without testing any further??? Isn't that just bad medical practice? Im not even from a medical background, and I know that is not right. Save yourself (literally) and go somewhere else.

I went there to do mine and wife’s teeth clean up and polishing which I was told $291 each while booking an appointment. When I went there without even consulting they took us to inner room and started doing cleaning followed by X-rays and included doctors check up. Never took the permission from us whether we wanted that service . They were like used car sales people trying to sell products. Dr Jaspreet she was good and patience while doing the cleanup but to our surprise when we went to check out they have charged us both $700 each for the services we never asked. They knew about my insurance policy and want to charge the whole money in a single visit leaving nothing for rest of year which I would have needed. So they are there just to Ripp off patients and insurance system . Now our whole years dental budget is gone and we have to wait for next year to get it replenished. I am highly disappointed and won’t recommend going to these types of money making firms..

This clinic is clean and the nurse and medical receptionists are quite friendly and efficient. They are welcoming and always have a pleasant tone when you speak with them, and even make light hearted jokes along with you if you initiate it. Charasmatic. It is not something that can be found in most clinics. Tanzela Shahzad is my doctor and has been for quite some time. She is one of the best doctors I have come to know. She cares deeply about her patients. She was working in a different medical clinic years before and sent a letter to me to let me know she was moving elsewhere. I of course followed her to this clinic because I could not imagine having another doctor for myself, especially for important issues. I am a single younger mother, and she makes sure that whatever she does for me is reasonable and affordable, this woman does not discriminate and i appreciate her with all my heart for that. There are many doctors i have faced discrimanation from, but not her. Although taralake medical clinic is out of the way for me, It is a place that I am willing to travel every time to see her when it comes to mental health and other health concerns and check ups. Even if she is particularly busy and in a rush, she makes sure that her patients needs are met and heard. She has her patients best interest in mind, always. I have seen one other Doctor here for a perscription refill while she was on vacation and he wasn't very accommodating and didn't seem to take my mental health seriously, which is why I am only giving this a 4 star review. Otherwise, this clinic is fantastic. Clean, friendly, and welcoming with a high amount of diversity. It is busy, but understandably so. The pharmacy is also fantastic. I used it for the first time, and I will be going back. They are quite busy but are very on top of things. I definitely recommend this doctors office to anyone who lives in the NE area.

I've been hesitant to see the dentist since Ive had a couple terrible experiences..however the staff here helped me overcome my fears and did an excellent job. Got my wisdom teeth extracted and was in terrible pain before the extraction. I had no choice but to go see a dentist and glad I came her to get my procedure done.
