we ordered cakes, macs, and cupcakes from here and they’re all tasty! the owner and the staff are very accommodating and nice. will order again in the future! the pricing is reasonable too.

UPDATE: the review below, is still accurate. But I contacted the owner and she got back to me very quickly. She apologized more then once, and re did the cupcake designs I was unhappy with, within the hour. She did explain to me it was a new staff member who had made the original ones, and she would be correcting them herself. Again when I arrived to have the cupcakes fixed they were very apologetic. Now that I’ve had one I can confirm they’re delicious. Although inconvenient, I really do appreciate the efforts to fix it right away. I would definitely order again after having my problem fixed so fast. They were beautiful afterwards. It truly was good customer service and was never once made to feel bad or wrong about me not enjoying the original cupcakes I was given. Glad I reached out to have them fixed!! I made a Google review a couple of months ago using a different account but it won’t let me edit it. I had ordered some desserts through skip the dishes and was very happy with them! They were delicious. I decided to order some custom cupcakes for a birthday and I picked them up about an hour ago and I have to sadly say I am disappointed. The cupcakes with no design look amazing. The ones with the custom designs are underwhelming. After looking at the sweet retreat Instagram I was sure I was getting beautiful cupcakes.. but they look rushed and messy. There’s finger nail marks, and I’m actually super upset with the final product. I’m sure they taste amazing. I haven’t tried them yet, but I was expecting more.

amazing cupcakes!! I loved the surprise of chocolate chips in them too!! I loved the macaroons as well!! very well made and I love the variety of flavours and how they get switched up often!

The best cheesecake and cream puff in town. The owner is super nice and she even gave a free cookie for purchasing first time at the store.

4.5 * The best macarons in the city ? Puppers enjoyed their treats - friendly staff - spotless inside. Ordered cupcakes for an engagement party. We provided our own liners. The owner was very accommodating to the engaged couple's request. Her palette and creativity is absolutely beautiful.

I always check the website to mix nd' match before buying anything, and every combo I've made elevates my mood for the rest of the day. Everything made here is always not too sweet and you can taste the flavors packed in the goods. I will always recommend Sweet Retreat! And Thank You for the extra brownie Maleijah?

So good! I came here twice. I love how the cupcakes and pastries aren't overly sweet. I can actually eat the cupcakes without getting a crazy sugar rush or upset stomach from too much sugar. My fav. Place for cupcakes. I can't wait to stop by again to try different flavors.
