β β β β β This place crazily amazing!, one of the best places Iβve visited in Winnipeg, from the style decoration with the chandelier seats and all to their drinks βοΈ ?and food we had was too nice for a small place just off the highway and a step view to different culture. Very nice people with great culture real thankful to the owner too such a nice young lady .

β β β β β Just ordered from here for the first time. We were excited about their described entry for la poutine week (later realized that they arenβt listed in this yearβs label poutine week site, so maybe this was from last year). The poutines were very small for the price, used different ingredients than listed with no attempt to contact us (a very small amount of shredded cheddar instead of mozzarella, regular fries instead of garlic potato wedges), and they completely missed one of our orders. We also got the dessert platter and it isnβt very good.

β β β β β Buyers Beware...! A lot of things on their shelves are already expired or near expiry.. And this is consistent with them and they sell it as if it were normal for people to consume expired food if they got it for cheaper.
I went to return a product that was a month past the expiry date. I informed this to the staff there and he seemed unapologetic for selling the expired product and claimed that is why they have that on sale (less than 10% of the marked price). He even had the audacity to compare his store to the supermarkets, clearly referring to the sale they have on near expiry items as compared to his items that's expired months back with a discount of $0.75. I've had several bad experiences with the staff there and they hit the nail in the head with this one so now I'm not going to bother going back there...

β β β β β I honestly do almost all of my groceries here. I can find things here (spices, oils, cheeses, products that arenβt found anywhere else in Manitoba). Great middle eastern grocery store with exceptional staff. Very organized and neat. Prices are great and unbeatable!

β β β β β Had to come and change the review. Ordered their little bit of everything sweets via skip..the quantity is a joke with missing baklavas from our order. When I called them to let them know, the lady basically did not care and said we should deal with Skip (which is fair). Her lack of care is awesome tbh. Lol..never recommending this place again. I hate when customer service is bad. Here is a photo of what you may get for 16 dollars.
Update- Skip was able to refund some of our money spent. For anyone thinking of ordering from Skip, watch out for the inconsistency with the quantity. The provided order was delicious and hence I have changed my rating to 2 stars.

β β β β β Loved it!!! The food and the tea reminded me back home. All Middle Eastern spices were available. The best place to buy fresh chicken and meat.
Highly recommended.
I would like to see more products of KDD, like the chocolate milk.

The service here was so poor, it was unbelievable.
We were served with dirty dishes and cups, which the waiter didnβt realize but thank goodness he corrected. Then we received the wrong order, after waiting over 45 minutes for our meal. One good thing was the Falafel and its dipping were tasty.
Unfortunately every other experience on the day we visited (our very first time here) flavour or service wise was totally unimpressive.
Before I begin to bash and tell in more detail, I will boldly suggest that you explore other middle eastern restaurants in Winnipeg before this one. If you must explore this one, I hope your experience is better than ours.
