The food was good and fresh but not worth the expensive pricing. The tempura in the sushi itself was quite cold, so if you're looking for better bang for your buck then go to Wind Sushi next door. The quality is a much better for the fraction of the price. Cheers and enjoy!

Small, quiet place about 5 tables. Good food. Staff are polite and kind. Prices are about average for a sushi restaurant. Wait was a little long but I was there on a Friday night so it was busy.

The sushi rolls were delicious but unfortunately the miso soup smelled and tasted strongly of a cleaning product and decided it was best not to drink it. I loved the shrimp tempura. It was very crunchy and non-greasy. I'd advise staying away from their complimentary miso soup and from their water damaged ceiling above.

I had doubted this restaurant, as it is difficult to find good food in Keswick, but I was very surprised by the quality of food they serve. I often (almost exclusively) order the medium maki tray. It is definitely enough food for 3 people. Fish quality is good. Rice quantity is alright, a bit wet, but otherwise, if you're looking for decent sushi at a decent price, this restaurant will do well to curb any cravings.

The quality of food is great. sashimi is super fresh. Ordered the love boat plus medium maki platter that 6 people couldnt finish them - good portion. The only thing not everyone liked is that one or two maki roll seems only have cucumber, avocado and carrot in them, where none of us is vegan. I wish there is an option to substitute those to other preferred rolls. All by all we all liked the food and had a great birthday dinner at home.

I've been eating at Sushi Minato for years, there has been three or four different owners since. The food is very good but the rest of the service is just getting down right annoying... They don't answer the phone as other reviewers have stated. I'm really not sure why there is even one posted here, this has been an on-going issue for years. I usually have to drive there to either pre-order or sit in my car and wait for them to make the food. It's really not necessary. They do not update their business hours on their page either. I just finished calling three times and driving across town to find a note on the door saying they're closed, unfortunately this is typical. I would suggest and invite the owners to either start answering the phones, offer online ordering, and definitely update business hours online if they decide they are going to close... At least leave a voice message so when people call we know you aren't open rather than playing a guessing game all the time. It's going to take one other decent sushi restaurant in town for me to take my business elsewhere. I'm sure others feel the same way too.

February 2022 We will not be returning to Minato Sushi. We have found that the quality of their sushi has decreased over the last year, and the most recent order tasted like the rice was old and the fish had no flavor. We've also noticed they have a tendency to not answer the phone, and this was the first time in 3 months we could get someone to pick up the phone. With my last order, I ran into an issue and was treated so rudely that it has caused me to never go there again. We ordered takeout, but unfortunately, as we were preparing to leave to get it, we found out we had a flat tire. We called to explain the situation and the owner immediately started yelling over the phone about how we are wasting their food and that they didn't believe we had a flat tire, demanding we come and get the food. We tried to explain we had no way of getting there and she proceeded to yell at us before rudely demanding my credit card and address, stating she would deliver. She did, in fact deliver, but was extremely rude when she got to the door ordering us to never do this them again. Like we planned the flat tire. Had she taken any sort of calm approach about delivery or the expectation of paying, this would be a different conversation. But I don't appreciate being yelled at, treated rudely and pretty much called a liar. Don't expect any good customer service from them.
