Miso Ya Japanese & Korean Cuisine

All you can eat buffet available and you cant waste anything because you will be charged and thats fair considering the art it takes to prepare each sushi or platter. My take away was great. Just couldnt tell the real difference between a squid and chicken meal i ordered cos it was mostly stir fry veggies overpowering the tiny pieces of squid or chicken. The soup wasnt great either. Got a generous portion of rice though. When i went to a chinese,Italian& indian restaurant here in Canada I found the taste.My search for the Japanese & Korean taste wasnt really fulfilled on this visit. I will have to go for the buffet,perherps it will be a different experience.Its great ambience there however.

The best place for all-you-can eat korean/japanese restaurant in Regina. The price is reasonable and they have their own way of making sure that customers won't waste any food by serving in a small portion (the trick is order the same item until you reach the maximum limit which is 3 times per item on the menu). I had a great time eating there. If you are nice customer, the staff/crew are even nicer! I recommend this place!

Worst service ever!! Came in today wanting a nice lunch and got the opposite. There were multiple servers walking around the restaurant helping other tables but ignored our table for 40+ minutes. Was trying to get my third round but did not get it. Severs did not even clear plates away or ask for water refills. Ended up walking out having to pay full price without getting a third round. If you want mediocre food with awful service this is the best place to go.

If I would rate this place 0 start then I would. The service is not good at all. We came and waited for more than 15 minutes before the waitress came to take our order. When we ask if every time we want to order do we have to raise our hand or what, then the waitress explained that we have to put the paper in the corner of the table so they know and come. Then she should tell us when she set up our table, not let us sitting there more than 15 minutes and no one cares at all. This place is over price for their poor food. We ordered sushi rolls, the first dish came out with the rice is so dry and hard, seem like they used the old rice that been left from the fridge last night, but it is accepted to compare for what happened next. The second dish came up with salmon fish, this time I think the chef know the rice is dry so they decided to put a lot of vinegar to make the rice softer but turn out it taste really sour. We could not finish it and told the waitress about that. She brought the dish inside and not replace us another one, she just ask if we want something else, of course after what we been experienced, we refuse to try another one. Again I do not recommend this place. It is not worth your time or your money.

Best sushi I've ever had in my life. I've been coming here for years and it's so good, I can't enjoy other sushi places because the quality is just nowhere near. If you're on the fence or debating going here, this is your sign- seriously go. It's all you can eat, and you'll have a hard time finding better.

Too much rice for the amount of fish. The nigiri had paper thin pieces of fish on top of a big chunk of rice. The spicy rolls were covered in hot sauce. Tuna did not taste fresh and had a strange smell. Quick service but would not recommend this place.

It's been a few years since I've been here, as both the food and service had really gone downhill. Decided to give it another try because there are a few rolls that I haven't found anywhere else. Plus, while they do have regular tables and chairs, they also have a zashiki style seating area, where you take your shoes off and sit on the floor (they also have the sunken floor area for your feet, making it a little more comfy)!!! Things have REALLY turned around here! The staff were so engaging and attentive! The food is back on track and so tasty! Even the inside has had a few changes made. Definitely a 180 from the last time I visited; makes me wonder if maybe there is new ownership. The Stir Fry Udon, Japchae, Hawaii roll (all pictured) are hands down my top 3 fave things on the menu! The egg and cheese (also pictured) is also super tasty, made with tamago (sweet egg) and cream cheese! And if you're looking for something fairly unique to here, try the Oshinko roll (pickled radish, not pictured)! The Beef Tataki on the supper menu is also super delish and should not be overlooked!!! The washrooms, ladies specifically, is in a sad state of disrepair and in definite need of repairs. One stall door you need to fight to lock and the other stall had no toilet seat... in the ladies. The sink was clogged and half full of gross used water. The ceiling fan appears to never have been cleaned. Personally, I would recommend avoiding using the washroom if at all possible!! Had I not used the ladies washroom, hands down I would have given a 5 star review!!! If you've never been, you're missing out! If you stopped going because it wasn't any good a while ago, you need to give it another try! However, plan to avoid using the ladies washroom!

Love this place, haven't been back in a while but the taste is top notch. The all you can eat menu is great for sushi selection if you love variety and price is very reasonable. Service was quick, environment was family friendly and would come back again!
