Teppanyaki Japanese Steak House

Teppanyaki is a family owned and operated business established in 1993. We immigrated to Regina, Saskatchewan in 1980, immediately falling in love with Canada and the great province of Saskatchewan. The patriarch of our family - "Boss" - as he is lovingly referred to, began working at a variety of Asian style restaurants upon our immigration to Canada. Boss particularly enjoyed the Teppanyaki style of cooking because of its ability to exhibit one's creativity. Regina had lacked a Teppanyaki style restaurant since the 1980's so with the help of the family, Boss took a leap of faith into the restaurant industry. To this day Teppanyaki is still run by the original owner and will soon be passed down to the next generation of highly experienced and enthusiastic restauranteurs. We love what we do and the city we live in - our hope is to continue serving the people of Regina for generations to come.

a fantastic food experience.. our Chef was on top of things, as well as being witty to make our evening that much more comfortable.. the food was absolutely superb, we will definitely be going to visit again ! ..the only thing bad was the photos i took, but capturing this kind of awesome was difficult..

This was a very nice experience! Very entertaining and the food was delicious! Service was a little slow but definitely worth the wait. Prices compare to other places. I'd definitely go again.

Went last night for a birthday supper made a reservation for 7. Took an hour and a half until i finally asked if we could be served soon at our table we were sitting at since 7, was told that they will get to us eventually. Everyone left hungry barely got any food, this establishment sure has gone down hill since our last few visits. Seen a guy outside he left because he had been waiting 2 and a half hours.

Love coming here with my girlfriend whenever I visit! Amazing food, great service, friendly chefs, and kind waitstaff! Watching them make the food in front of us is always a nice touch. Will be back every time I visit! The sauces are to die for, and don’t forget to try the fried ice cream.

Another great place to have a meal. Service was very genuine and friendly. I ordered the samurai - steak and lobster. They cook it right in front of you and the chef is amazing. Steak was cut up into small pieces and the lobster tail was cut down the center. Great stuff Teppanyaki! Service and food deserve 5 stars!!!

Staff was friendly and quick in their service. Food quality is excellent. The "show" provided by the chef's as they make the food is very professional and well done. Prices are a bit expensive though given the overall experience it's worth it. If you're thinking of doing a private dining experience this is probably not the best option as the tables are setup for 8 people and they will use all seats. Even if it isn't private, it's still a great dining option. Would recommend it for a special night out or a night with friends.

This is a hidden gem.. Quietly located between Da India Curry House and Royal Paan on Victoria Avenue. The experience is amazing.. It's probably the only "Teppanyaki" style restaurant in Regina. If you are new to the word Teppanyaki then it roughly means cooking/grilling meat and vegetables on an steel plate attached to the dining table and served sizzling hot. Food was really good, a little disappointed that they don't serve authentic Japanese Wagyu for their Kobe platter but otherwise very good experience.. Quick suggestion - The red and white wine selection should improve a bit on the menu. Sake is pretty strong and good tasting. Love the welcoming environment and polite behavior by the owners.. Definitely coming back again soon!
