Sushi is mediocre at best unfortunately. I ordered a chopped scallop nigiri, salmon & avocado roll, and a pork gyoza. Gyoza was tasty but the chopped scallop tasted a bit off for some reason. Service is friendly but they need at least one more waiter on the floor. I waited 15 minutes for my bill because they are understaffed.

Very low quality sushi. The chicken teriyaki was soggy and tasted old and the tempura was soggy and not crunchy at all. Also I found 2 hairs in my salmon nigiri. Unfortunately I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone I know.

A 3.5 overall. During covid times things come out in disposable units. Location is nice and pricing is average. Best value is probably their bento boxes (ranges $13-19). Their sushi is a little heavier on the rice side. The service overall was ok. Not the greatest nor was it that bad either. One odd thing to rave about though is the dressing to the salad... much approved on that end. I would put this spot as a go to if youre in the area and craving sushi. Not necessarily a place i would trek for though.

Ate here when visited Vancouver. Very generous employees, and good proportions! We didn't know that there was an order discount going on when we arrived. The waitress told us that even though we ordered minutes before the discount ended (certain hours), she still included it in our bill. I highly recommend the a la carte and special roll options.

I might be biased for sushi taste because I had a three year break before reviewing sushi places in Vancouver. The taste was fantastic to me. 3.5 overall for the slow service though. We got the oh honey roll, cream cheese crunch, aburi salmon and aburi Saba a piece each and seaweed salad. Couldn’t fault anything for taste, oh honey roll could be crunchier.

We found Sushi Bang accidentally while on the way to another restaurant. The staff only asked us to show our QR codes but did not check our IDs. We ordered fried oysters which was fresh and the batter was crispy. The udon was disappointing - they used frozen vegetables, which tasted awful, but the noodles were chewy. We also had brown rice caterpillar roll, wild spicy salmon roll, and prawn roll - all delicious. Overall, the food quality and the price were good - worth a try if you are in the area

Food is good but some of the hot dishes are slightly on the expensive side for sushi restaurants in the area. The inside is really nice though, with high ceilings and kept very clean. Service is prompt & I didn't think it was bad, so I'm not sure why there are lots of low reviews saying that.
