The process of building a garment is very streamlined; Ricardo in particular provided great styling tips to ensure I got exactly what I was looking for. Manufacturing was top notch and very prompt. Looking forward to building my next garment soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked exclusively with Ray and I can’t say enough about the quality of service I received from him.
I had provided him with some inspiration photos prior to our consult and when we met I could tell he had put effort and consideration into my vision. Within 15min I had selected my fabrics, style, colour and customizations.
The fitting was premium quality and Ray knew exactly where to trim, tuck, pin, chalk, and fold so that I could have the perfect tailored look. He is extremely professional with an ability to speak your language and make you feel extremely comfortable.
My groomsmen and I were able to hang out in the lounge and enjoy the social dynamics of a memory that’ll resonate with us forever. We were given the freedom to order pizzas and just hang out while the wedding party was fitted.
I returned in a matter of weeks after my custom suit was built and it looked and felt incredible. Ray was able to spot the most minor corrections from the manufacturer and once again insisted that it was tailored it to perfection.
I feel like most times at other suit shops I’d be rushed out the door because they already had my money, however Ray took the time to get that perfect fit and absolutely nailed it because he knows how important the look is.
To Ray, THANK YOU. You have made a life-long client and I will absolutely return for your services.

I was with Ray majority of the time there and he knows how to make you feel comfortable and enjoy the process of designing your suit. The other stylist are just as amazing. I will forever recommend this store to anyone and everyone!!

My appointment with Ray felt very rushed. From the very beginning, we were left to our own devices for quite some time before Ray was able to meet with us. As we were picking my suit material, Ray zoomed past the selections so quickly without our input that I had to keep asking what selections were made for me. I wasn't even confident that my preferences were noted, but let it slide as I'd requested similar options as my first surmesur suit.
Despite this, several selections were not honoured by Surmesur. With my shirt, while the material felt great, it wasn't made to my spec and they had to re-order it. I was offered an additional shirt for free on the house due to the error, but when it came to, the offer was reneged. Options on my vest and jacket were also not what I'd ordered.
I had excused issues with previous orders to the pandemic but at this point, I can't excuse them not honouring my requests during my appointment, nor the mistakes in building my suit. Them reneging their consolation offer for their mistake was the icing on the cake for me to request a full refund of my order.
There are other well-reputed suit shops in town - including some who make their clothing on-site and can offer better selections and pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ray came highly recommended by a good friend. The store had every detail in custom colors and patterns I was looking for in my vision for my wedding. The communication after the first inital was always on point and the overall price was very fair if not better then what I thought. He did such a great job with my suit that I recommended him to my friend who was getting married the next year.
Thus, I have worked with Ray again but this time as a groomsmen. He did an amazing job with me and my friends. We all praise the work and details om our suits. We even got the grooms father to come in for his own. This felt like a family business and we will be sharing it as one. Amazing from start to finish. ?

I had another great experience here with Ray and Ange, going above and beyond (as they do) with making sure the custom suit experience went great for my groomsmen and I. It was very easy going through this process again because of the high-quality and friendly customer service they provided to me. Ange was even my personal tailor at one point when I was pressed for time and she ran with me to tailor a shirt on the spot at Banana Republic. Ray always followed up too and made sure everything was smooth. At Surmesur, they most definitely make sure you are taken care of and deliver on high-quality custom suits as they are very organized. Big thanks to them. I appreciate y’all a ton! ??
