The front desk staff are disrespectful to say the least If your going to call yourself a Healthcare worker have a little empathy and compassion I've been here an hour and no one has even asked me what's wrong

Look up the wait time before going, you won't be surprised when you arrive. (AHS app. Tells you waiting time for all area services) The waiting area was social distancing... Areas used where quickly sanitized. Staff gave wait times. Urgent issues required an extended wait.

I don't think I can say enough about how great the staff, nurses doctors,health care aids , the cleaners. Everyone works hard and treats the patients with care and respect. I hope people will take the time to even say thank you, they are deservant of more. Just a thank you and smile can make there day.

The emergency staff, particularly the doctors and nurses, are very patient and caring, which is very comforting to us (patients). The diagnosis equipment is top-notched. We are very fortunate to have a community hospital with a team of professionals like that!!!

The doctor was very caring and supportive! However, the RN on staff NEEDS to be RETRAINED in kindness and compassion and respect! If you dont like your job maybe you should find something else!!!! As far as I know nurses are there to take care of patients. The RN fell far short of treating my mother. Today my mom needed help to get comfortable and needs help moving. She asked this RN for help and the RN said what do you want me to do about it. So my mom told her if you're not going to help me.. just leave!!! Unbelievably.... She left! The nurses on the next shift were A LOT BETTER!

I have never had a good experience here. Hours and hours of waiting just to be completely ignored by every nurse. When I can literally see seven nurses just chilling and talking when there are multiple patients trying to get their attention... That's bad care.

I want to thank all the staff in the ER department who took care of me . I came in scared and not knowing what was going to happen to me. Every staff member I encountered was kind and supportive. Everything was explained to me of what they were doing and why. The tests and procedures were explained and then the results as well. I left feeling I had been heard and was given instructions on next steps. These professionals are doing their best to take care of us all. What can we do to support them during these terrible times? They deserve so much better than what they are getting from a very small percentage of misguided individuals. Please when and if you come in contact with these folks please be sure to thank them for all they do.

My 80 year old mom had to go to the hospital 2 weeks ago. She has atrial Fribulation. They were great to her. I got a call from Mazankowski centre looking for a eco test. They told me she couldn't be booked for afib classes without this test. I must have missed a request to get a eco done and we couldn't find the paperwork so I called the hospital. The receptionist forwarded me to ambulatory care. Apparently they couldn't help me even though we were just there for a checkup and told me to call her gp. So I called but they hadn't received any documents from the visit yet so they couldn't help me. I called the hospital back to ask for emergency. She said they do not answer calls from outside even though I explained the situation for the second time. She sent me to patient accounts. Shockingly they had no way of helping me so they forwarded the call to emerg. The person who answered the call said they couldn't help me and told me to call my gp again. I was very frustrated by the run around when all I needed was a piece of paper for a test that had been approved by the doctor in emerg. Wow I was mad! Then all of a sudden I got a call back from the emerg nurse who had asked the nurse practitioner if she could help. She wrote the request again and I picked the form up 20 mins later. Thank you to the nurse and nurse practitioner who finally found a way to help me with a problem that was so easy to fix. I wish people would stop saying it's not my issue when it really is and not make me call around from 10am to 3pm to get a form that the dr provided in the first place. Everyone is living the Covid life and why can't we just be nice and go the extra step. I guess it's too hard!
