There are two food pully-hoist systems for safe food storage from bears or critters and a composting toilet. Amazing access to georgian bay with flat rocks and great beach area with great scenery too.
J	James Vair on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First came here in 1967 with other geography students from Wilfrid Laurier University (then Waterloo Lutheran) and returned many times until Feb. 1974 when I snowshoed in from Cyprus Lake PP and spent some time solo there. The Cabin was habitable and we kept it as well as we could since the owners the MacIntaggert? Brothers were in their 80's and no longer could make the trip from Michigan by boat. We usually came in from Halfway Rock 45min to an hour walk on a tough trail. Certainly more developed now. I thought the cabin was burned in the 80's or 90's a previous post has the cabin in its present state of disrepair, this pic is from the early 70's. Most of the work was done by Stan Jackson of Guelph and he deserves credit for the stove and bunkbeds and the groovy paintjob.
T	Tom Dawson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most campsites don't have views and it sucks to not be able to have fires, although that's typical for backcountry in national parks. But it's only a short hike in and the quiet beach nearby is very nice. Water isn't as cold as expected either.

R	Roshan Thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down this is one of the best camping spots and the fact that it is back country, inaccessible by road and the seclusion makes it even more appealing. The camp spots which face the blue-green waters and the orange-red sunrise over the waters are probably something you would be able to capture only in a few places. Having said that, keep in mind that the number of camp spots available are limited (around 8) and are occupied almost all the time. Storm-haven is on Bruce trail, which pass through beaches, cliffs and grotto which would give you ample activities and spots to explore during day time. The camp has a platform on which the tent has to be made, a bear hanging pole and a compost toilet.
F	Forest CPB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did this trek solo the other day. Took about 3 hours from the P2 parking lot located near the yurts at Cyrus Lake Campground. I went along the Cypress Lake Trail to the Marr Lake Trail along tonthe Bruce trail, past the Grotto. After the Grotto I joined the Georgian Bay Trail for a quick moment before hopping back on the Bruce Trail until I reached my site at Stormhaven! The location is beautiful. I stayed at site #1 which is tucked away on top of the cliff protected from the wind by all the trees. It was very beautiful and gave you lots of privacy from your nearest neighbour. There were lots of trees so not too much dorect sunlight during the day. There is a composting toilet on site. No running water is available (for drinking or even washing your hands) but there’s a big lake just down the cliff side ? Bring biodegradable, plant based soap if you intend to wash there. There are no camp fires permitted on site. I brought in pre-prepped meals (dinner and breakfast for the morning) so I didn’t have to worry about cooking. Sunset was amazing and sunrise was also beautiful albeit a bit cloudy. Falling asleep to the sounds of waves and nature is priceless!
O	Oliver Hoffmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great location! There are limited sites here as it is a backcountry campground, so book early. The hike in from Halfway Log Dump day use area is about 3-4km. It can be quite steep and rocky in parts, so be prepared for a rather challenging hike. There are many beautiful views along the way. Once you're at the Campground you will have a raised wooden platform to setup your tent and a place to hoist your food out of the reach of bears. There is a composting toilet onsite, but no running water, make sure you bring plenty of water or a way to boil the water from the lake. Depending on which site you get, take the stairs down past the washroom to get to the lake. There are plenty of nice places to watch the sunset on the white rock beach.
