The ground kinda sucks for tents hard & full of sharp rocks. Though other than that this is an amazing place, I've came camping here 2 years in a row now.

Great campground, just a little bit too close to neighbors than my liking. Still, well kept and organized! Not far from trails and other activities

Low area of park, could get damp in wet times. Lots of mosquitoes - expected in Georgian Bay, especially in bushy areas. Nice access to trails from this part of Campgrounds.

The campground is well set up and the national park is beautiful but unfortunately the people who visit the park are less than. On multiple occasions we witnessed people leaving garbage around the park in various locations. From red plastic cups on the water pumps, to wet wipes plastic packaging thrown into the toilet bowls...it was pretty atrocious. Trash left on top of and next to the metal waste disposal bins (even though they weren't full) which defeats the purpose of them (not attracting bears & other wildlife). Multiple empty cans of alcohol and wrappers thrown to the side of the main campground road. Etc etc. The Rangers do their best to clean up after people but they shouldn't have to. Multiple sites had people yelling at all hours of the day with little to no regard for their camping neighbours or wildlife. Do everyone a favour and please do not visit a national park if all you want to do is party or if you can't pick up after yourself/your family.

Good place to camp as the lake is beautiful and clear. But there’s no enough clean washrooms and even out of service the whole night and morning. Water is also not available for unknown reason. Long check in queues in front desk, poor computer system and inefficient working.

Captivating campsites with good privacy, flat surface. NO BUGS OR MOSQUITOES

Not perfect campsites, most if them are small and exposed, but location location location! Both Cyprus lake and the Grotto are just minutes away.

We were camping in the Poplars section of Cyprus Lake campground, in Bruce Peninsula National Park. We had been to several other provincial and municipal (GRCA) parks these last two summers and were curious how a national park stood up. Our campsite was great, open canopy above the fire pit perfect for stargazing. Definitely walked past some sites that were less than that but it's what you make of it. We were closest to the head of trails area which is handy when you want to head out for the day. Great hiking out to the grotto and across the rocky shore back. Watch in amazement as people scale those rocks around the grotto with children dangling everywhere, I was good from a distance. Back in the campground, neighbours on all sides were respectful, we did not come upon any party crowds, washrooms are seemingly always close, patrols seem pretty regular around the evenings. Wood was a bit wet but we managed to dry it out. Cyrpus Lake itself is nice and boatless. The absolute highlight tho is the darksky preserve. If you've never been far enough from a city to find yourself in a dark sky spot and get lucky booking here on a clear night you'll be amazed at what's always right above us tucked behind light pollution. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it and I'm curious when I'll get a chance to again. Quite honestly I could have slept in dirt and had an awful experience here and would still have a hard time giving anything under five stars based on the two perfect clear evenings we had. There's no way to gaurentee you get the open sky when you book, but if you do you're in for a treat.
