My family has been going to this site for over 10 years now & this year was by far the worst we have ever seen the sites. The staff just drive around not doing anything. There is no grounds work being done like it was before. The grounds were always kept up & looking good. I had to beg to get our fire pit emptied & the employee was upset that I was asking. The washrooms (men's) was beyond brutal. My 14 old son wouldn't even use it. The smell was beyond gross. It's sad because we used to love this place but I can say we will never be back. Sad that the staff really didn't care about the place. You can see they just don't care anymore.

I have now stayed here twice and both times, we have just had a great experience. Staff are kind, friendly and helpful. We never got to use to outdoor pool, but how amazing!!! Other campers always seem to respect one another and the animals brought there, kids always running around and playing ? I highly recommend this camp ground and look forward to already planning my next trip, and I just got home today. Sites and big and spacious, fire wood gets delivered for you, bathrooms are kept clean and the dish washing station is so nice. Dog park, park for the kids. So much family fun to be had.

I was skeptical about camping in Drumheller as I have only ever camped in woods with lakes. I was concerned when we first drove into the park and saw some very close together trailers. BUT. Our site was lovely! On the river, lovely big trees and when we set up, you couldn't even see the other campers. When we first got there, we immediately locked the dog into one of the cars. One of the staff went out of his way to help us deal with that. The river was AMAZING, my kids spent hours playing in it. My elderly parents walked up to the pancake breakfast with their dog, not realizing that couldn't bring the dog in. The staff, instead of just telling them no dogs allowed, brought them somewhere where they could comfortably sit WITH the dog, in the shade, and brought them their food! How outstanding is that? Also, the pool was great, but could get a bit crowded for my elderly parents. Guess what? They opened the pool up every night for seniors only. I was impressed.

Campsite was great. Kids loved having so many friends to play with. We were unable to get into the pool on the weekends as it was completely booked. There is little privacy between the sites especially for the sites with full service. We swam in the river everyday and had a great time. Too far to bike into town with little kids.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was our first camping experience in Alberta, and to be honest, it all started out great. The younger guy who checked us in was awesome. The campsites are pretty close to each other, so there doesn't seem to be a great deal of privacy, and noise carries pretty easily. It is a beautiful campground, though, and the pool looks like it will be fabulous if/when it opens. There were problems with the bathrooms on our last evening there, but I'm confident that the issues will be addressed quickly. It is a great spot for families with kids. Lots of great space for games and biking.

We loved this campground! It has a great location, a pool, and there's lots to do. For years we've been going there on May Long Weekend with our friends, and we would usually spend another week there just us. No more. Sadly, it seems like the campground is under new ownership, and the prices are now too high. It used to be one of the more expensive places to camp, but there's no way I would pay almost $100 per night! Looks like we'll have to find a new spot.

Great location as far as traveling to and from local attractions however I found the site's to be dirty I found tooth floss picks in my site and an open pocket knife not to mention numerous metal bottle caps, there was food in the dishwashing area and garbage on the ground for days. I was disappointed that you had to pay for showers and with how cold and chemical ridden the pool was. We stayed for 3 nights however we avoided being at the campground more then possibly. We were also disappointed that we were charged extra for the tail end of the long weekend without notice as we were quoted one price from the Sunday to the Wednesday, if we would have known about the price difference we would have gotten a cabin elsewhere vs camping. Super expensive and not worth your money.

Nice Camp Ground. The staff where friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy. The front office was well stocked with snacks and the washrooms where very clean and well equipped. The showers take tokens which are purchased on site and provide a decent amount of time each, 6 minutes for $2. Tent sites are exposed but a decent size so there is space. We had #38 which for tenting was the best of the bunch. Close to local attractions so if you’re visiting Drumheller it’s a good choice.
