What a great place to stay as a family in the Drumheller area. So much better than needing 3 rooms at a hotel. We all stayed in the 1918 Eaton Catalogue House. We had the whole well equiped house! 6 adults, 2 4 year olds, 1 2 year old and baby. Worked out so well that the kids could go to bed and we still could spend time together. Even though its only 20 minutes out of Drumheller it was great drive and nice to get away. The hosts were extremely accommodating and pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I would not recommend this campground to anyone. I cannot believe how much it has deteriorated in the last couple of years. The road going in is so full of deep pot holes I wouldn't even bring my rv in. The sites are overgrown with weeds they are not worth camping in. The owner is no where to be seen. I am surprised this campground is still open.

This property is in transition and undergoing renovation so parts may be closed. Call ahead. We were there for a family reunion and it was fantastic as it suited all our needs. Charming self-catering heritage house for some of us, shady and quiet RV spaces for those with RV's and quaint bunkhouses for the other campers in our group. Shared cookhouse was a great gathering place. Only 20 minutes from Drumheller, this is a quiet and shady alternative if you are visiting the Tyrell.

the owner's/operators of this facility were non-existent on the labor day weekend. If you are going to operate a campground then you can't expect to be off site for the weekend. The place is incredibly run down and falling apart. One set of washrooms was out of order before we arrived and we were warned that the other set of washrooms was a bit further of a walk away. We were okay with that, but at least expected them to function. On Sunday morning we contacted the operators and left a voice mail message telling them that the women's bathroom was out of toilet paper and that the interior door handle had fallen off trapping my daughter inside the bathroom. We spent the day in Drumheller and when we returned in the evening the bathroom was in no better shape. The operators finally replenished the toilet paper and fixed the door handle at about 7pm. At the time they asked if there was still hot water in the bathroom and commented that maybe they should change the tank. We called them at 9:45 pm to tell them there was no water to wash and no water to flush the toilets. When we left at 10:30 monday there was still no water and the toilets were becoming disgusting because no one could flush. There was no other bathrooms in the campground!!!!!!

What a great little campground! New owners have taken over and there's a few maintenance and landscape type issues that need some attention, but overall it's a great spot. There's a good amount of trees to provide shade and it's well located relative to town. The news owners are really nice and seem to genuinely care about the place and your experience there.

I describe this camping spot as a beautiful and lush grove in the rolling prairies on the edge of the Badlands. We camped with our family on an oversize pull-through site with all hookups. There are a number of back-in sites with plenty of mature trees, too. Our site had multiple trees, shrubs and grass like carpet and birds singing all day. You would never know that the wind was blowing outside the property, there is terrific protection from the dense trees bordering the grounds. The new owners are friendly and welcoming. While there, we met the original owners who were staying at the location as they transitioned into their retirement phase. They were enjoying watching the new owners step into their role. This is obviously a product of 17 years of diligent attention to building a lovely destination with lots of hard work and TLC. It is secluded, private and relaxing. Our kids enjoyed our large site, the rambling grounds and a game or two of tether ball. Our little dogs enjoyed the quiet setting and meeting a litter of kittens that were bravely exploring the world outside the barn. Nearby, there is plenty to do and plenty of amenities between here and Drumheller to the east. We will definitely come back and invite friends to join us. It is such a lovely spot within a short, scenic drive from the Calgary area, too. It is a great getaway and even if our friends don't have camp gear, there is a quaint B&B, tiny cabins, and a historic cottage available for guests.

Adorable rustic cabins! Basic and clean on the inside. Two private bathrooms with showers and a public bathroom with stalls. Surrounded by a privacy fence. Goats, sheep, a pig, chickens, a horse and her baby. So cute! There are dogs that bark, but settle once they realize you are not a threat. Our family had a wonderful time and the owner made us feel welcome!

Twenty mins drive from drumheller. It is very well markee, the approach is a gravel range road. The color schemes for each cabin is very well done. You are assigned a color and that is your cabin. The washrooms are well kept and the view is splendid. The owners are on site and always available on call or text. There are a lot of mosquitos in the region, the cabins have meshed windows but make sure you carry bug spray for when you sit outside. Best part about the whole stay was it is surrounded by farms on all sides and a great sunset view.
