About Lands End Park

Experience nature at its finest on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula ... a photographer's and astronomer's dream. Magnificent panoramas, majestic cliffs, spectacular sunsets, unparalleled night skies, a haven for wildlife, peace, quiet and tranquil beauty, cool lake breezes on hot hazy days. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff have all the information you need to help you enjoy the grandeur of 'The Bruce'.

Come relax with us at this beautiful, clean and quiet family campground situated in 90 acres of natural forest. Family owned and operated, we make every effort to keep the park immaculate, and to retain all of its natural scenic beauty. Individual campsites nestled among the trees, offering seclusion and privacy for tents and RVs. Spotless, modern facilities with hot showers available.

Cool off in the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay, snorkel in the 'Bight' or scuba dive a shallow wreck a mile away. The underwater scenery is fascinating and the fish are plentiful, whether you observe them from below, or throw a line in from above. Live bait is often available at our camp store. We offer overnight docking, launching facilities for boats and seadoos, and watercraft rentals (canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, paddleboat).

If you are looking for a bit of gentle exercise, then rent a bike, or spend an hour or so walking our on-site, self-guided hiking trail which winds through 2 km of forest adjacent to the campground. A series of ponds in the center of the park are sure to keep the children occupied catching frogs, tadpoles and a variety of insects. Feeding the ducks, with their ducklings in tow, is a pastime for all ages and occasionally, you might be lucky enough to spot a beaver swimming through at dusk, or a blue heron spearing frogs at first light.

For the outdoor life with those little extra creature comforts, why not rent one of our family camping cabins? Indoor sleeping accommodation for up to 4 people in a camping environment where you cook and eat outdoors, provides a rustic experience with convenience.

The campground caters to a family atmosphere with strict attention to a 'quiet period' at night. So lean back in your lawn chair on a clear, starry night and we'll ensure the only sounds you hear are the croaking of the frogs and eerie cry of the loons out on the Bay.

We had an amazing time at this campground. Beautiful site, hiking trails right on the property, beach... it was perfect. Had a power outage Sunday afternoon that lasted quite some time, no water, but they got the bathrooms up and running PDQ.

Family Owned and Family Oriented. A Quiet, clean, respectful park with fellow campers that you can trust. Fun playground, running sport field amd Frog Pond for kids! We've been here twice and enjoyed our time. We camped in a trailer and we've camped in a tent. Most all sites have water and electrical on site. Kids love it here and make fast friends too :)

We camped at Lands End in October of 2020. The location of the campground is dynamite in relation to the town of Tobermory…less than a 5 minute drive and you are at the town. Yet the campground is very secluded and not on the main highway, like the others I saw. The sites were very treed and private, almost as if you wouldn’t expect it to have water and electrical however it did! The staff were friendly on check in. A major highlight is to walk across the roadway where you will find a beautiful calm lake and small beach. They have water rentals such as kayaks but it was a bit chilly when were there so we didn’t partake however the pricing was very reasonable, so much so that we considered renting one over blowing up our inflatable kayak. Lastly, the trees on the site block the view of the sky somewhat at night so make sure to take a walk off the site to check out the stars! It was immaculate. We have already planned our return this fall and have booked the same site which has a little stream behind it (site 68). Highly recommend this campground for a wilderness feeling, while still having convenient amenities.

Does the job if you're looking for a place to set up your tent. Sites have no privacy and are quite small. There's only 1 shower in each of the bathrooms, coin operated - it also had a sign that the quarter machine is temperamental - seems really cheap to have that, just get rid of the thing. Beach is really small and not nice (didn't go in, but seemed muddy). We had a power outage during our stay, no generators - lucky that I brought a gas stove.

Great campground for families. Anyone from tent campers to RV's to even having cabins to rent. They have a private beach, dock and boat ramp. They have a small store that seems to sell whatever you could have forgotten. Staff seems friendly and they work hard to keep the comfort stations super clean. My only issue is that the camp sites feel a little small and that they can be very close to each other. Beyond that it is a great place to camp- We have been camping there for the last 3 years.

They definitely stress "family park" when you're here. I was here with two of my friends, playing board games in our tent after lights out time had a staff member come and tell us to keep it down. (we weren't loud but I get it, family park) Not much to do on the campsite. You have to go elsewhere to do anything worthwhile. If you're coming here with kids then I'd recommend it, but for adults just having fun you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

Just spent 8 wonderful days at Lands End Park. It was our second trip to Tobermory in 4 years and we stayed here both times. The campground is gorgeous with a wide variety of sites (some very well manicured grassy sites with full hookups, as well as many that give more of a back-country/woodsy vibe). The facilities are kept VERY clean and the front office staff are super friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a pool look elsewhere, but their private beach across the road is very nice and clean. We'll certainly be back as soon as we have a chance!!

Had an awesome time at lands end park! Had a very private site nestled back in the woods. The park had very clean facilities. The price was very good for the time we spent here. Our site backed onto the beach which we really appreciated. It was a nice break from provincial parks with a lot of crazy rules. As all the owners wanted is for all of their guests to relax and have a good time during their stay. We were very close to downtown area, Grotto and National Park. We will definitely be returning ???
