In hindsight should have gone elsewhere, but was under the gun to get a bridesmaid dress altered and had no frame of reference for cost. $96.05 to get a dress hemmed and one stitch in the bust!! I was told the high price was because the dress has three layers, but other bridesmaids - with the exact same dress - are getting theirs hemmed at a much lower cost in other cities. In fact, one of the bridesmaids has to get the entire dress brought down a size (which presumably is much more complex than hemming) AND hemmed and is only paying $75!! Wish I would have shopped around, but I thought, with a recognizable brand name like Stitch-It, I would be getting the most reasonable price. Now feeling ripped off and mad at myself :( Do NOT recommend this place to get your alterations done, would be better off supporting a small business if you want to be paying an arm and a leg!

Iwas pleased it could be done within the hour but shocked at the price ..forty dollars for a simple polyester dress I paid fourteen dollars for at Costco. When I expressed concern about the price the response was it was alot of materialI was a hem shouldnt have been more than ten dollars .I will not be going back here ridiculous pricing what a rip off.

I am also expecting so the growing bump made alterations all the more difficult. Lynette was a true professional and handled the alterations flawlessly! By the time I came back for my first fitting the dress fit perfectly, with just enough extra space for the bump to grow. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be going back in future! Thanks Lynette!
