★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service! Highly recommend! They really helped me out of a jam. I ordered a suit from Indochino, made to my measurements and it was waaaay too loose. I was Best Man at my closest friends wedding and they squeezed in my adjustment right before the wedding day. They were clearly busy, but they made the effort to help me out and my suit fit beautifully in less than 2 days after bringing it in. Fixed the wonky lapel, too! This was my first and only time going to a tailor and it was excellent! Thank you so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah, I have too many wonderful things to say in this review! I've been searching everywhere for the RIGHT dress for my ROM (registration of marriage) party, and finally found one. The problem was that it was too much fabric for my petite frame.
After being told it couldn't be done by several other seamstresses, I popped into Stitch It in Coquitlam Centre and Mai was absolutely lovely. I could tell her level of expertise because she took one look at the dress, felt it and gave me a breakdown of what needed to be done.
I also had a very short time frame, I needed the altered dress in less than 2 weeks. The dress itself is heavily embellished with mesh and beading throughout, and is a whole lot of work in order to basically take in alot of material EVERYWHERE (even the bodysuit underneath). We had to tighten the chest area, sleeves, length, everything!
Mai was so kind and gracious throughout the whole process, weddings can be extra stressful, and so I appreciated the communication, skill, and speed, so so much. Mai got it altered in a little over 1 week which is FABULOUS, and I'm just beaming at how perfect it fits now!
I definitely recommend Mai and the Stitch it location in Coquitlam esp if you live in the area and need someone you can trust with bridal wear!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had 2 pants hemmed and tightened in the legs, but the seam was open about 1-1/2" in the middle of one leg that I only noticed once home, so I will need to get that fixed on my trip which is a bummer . Other than that everything else was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tired to get alterations done and I was told no that they are not taking anymore. However I have seen people dropping off and picking up. Very strange?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to get a quote for a hem and taper for 2 pairs of denim. The seamstress was very sharp and rude when I asked questions about the alteration and the prices. I guess they just expected me to drop off the pants and leave, not ask questions. Ended up leaving and going across the hall to get alterations done there instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mai was amazing!! I had to get a lot of alternations for my bridesmaid dress - she was very knowledgeable and communicated what she was going to do very well. Since I had a couple things done to it she was able to help me save a few extra bucks and the job was done in less than 2 weeks - which I was pleasantly surprised at given that I’ve waited longer for less at other places. Cannot recommend them more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought a few items in to get some quotes on alterations and repairs. The lady who helped me was very friendly and took her time to walk through each item with me. She explained thoroughly what would be done to each item, which was reassuring. The prices were very reasonable, and were even up to $25 cheaper than the place down the hall.
When I went back to pick up my items a week later, they looked great. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will be coming back for sure, and would recommend to anyone.
