★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very picky when it comes to big purchases, such as furniture. I do a lot of research to make sure I’m getting the best products for a good price. I stopped doing that since coming here. Peter and Cristina are wonderful to deal with. Very professional and take away the stress of furniture shopping and make it enjoyable. I’ve sent many family and friends to Sterling House Interiors and always get great feedback. If you’re in the market for any type of furniture, within any price range, you’d be a fool to shop elsewhere. I would also like to address the few reviews commenting about delays.. there is not a single furniture retailer that isn’t suffering from manufacture delays... including Sterling House Interiors. That said, Peter and Cristina are always transparent and straightforward with information regarding shipping/delays and they go above and beyond to accommodate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6 years later, still enjoying our sofa. The manager, Peter, has always been great with us, with honest opinions, making our decisions much easier. Brought my in-laws to him a few years ago for another sectional-sofa, and no complaints since. Just brought my brother-in-law in last week, Peter worked with us for a few hours to find the sectional that would be their best fit. My brother-in-law just told me he received their sectional and were very happy with it, except one of the wooden legs was a bit scratched (it was a floor model). He had talked to Peter earlier and Peter would be sending someone out to repair it for him. Awesome customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 20 years it was time to update some furniture - purchased a complete dinning room set and living room occasional tables. Peter and Christina were great. Gave us a very competitive price answered all our questions and concerns (and my husband always has a lot of questions). Delivery staff were great. If looking for furniture would defiantly recommend you stop by and see Peter and Christina. Need to upgrade family room and living room sofas and will be heading back soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sterling is great! Had the pleasure of working with Peter the last time we purchased furniture. We were looking for both some living and dining furniture and were able to find everything we wanted with Peter's help. A huge amount of time was saved and all of our new furniture is very high quality. Without question this will be our first (and probably only) stop when we renew anything in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We placed our order (bed frame, chest, night stands, ) in March. We were advised that we will receive everything in May when we placed our order. We did receive the bed frame and chest in May, but the remaining night stands were received in October, which is almost 5 months delay.
Every time when we call or email, we were basically advised that the night stands were further delayed. They said that they depend on the supply from USA, where USA depends on the shipping from China. The delay is due to COVID-19.
The pricing and communication are good though. If you do not need something in a hurry, give them a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 20 years with the same living room set, I was looking for something more modern and comfortable. A friend had already purchased from Sterling House, and recommended I give Peter a call. I did, and from the beginning, I felt entirely at ease working with Peter. I didn't feel like I was being upsold. Peter was honest about different couches, showed me all the possible colour combinations, and was transparent about price hikes that were coming so I can order a little faster and about delays in shipping due to Covid so I could temper my expectations. Since purchasing this couch, I have sent several friends and family over there as well, and they have all been so happy with their purchases.
In addition, I was particular about the couch legs, as I have a disability that makes it a little difficult to stand up from lower couches. The legs that came with the couch were higher than most couches and I could have dealt with it, but Peter was able to throw in 8 higher legs for free so I can customize it to my needs. Unfortunately, the company did not deliver the correct legs, so Peter ordered them for me and came to my home himself to install them. If that's not incredible customer service, I don't know what is!!
Their website is certainly outdated, and I was a little thrown by it, but my friend insisted I go in. TRUST ME if you're going by the website, don't! This place is huge and has a ton more options than the website suggests.
I worked with Peter, and he was fantastic! He knew his stuff, was kind and understanding about budget concerns. But Cristina was also well informed anytime I asked her a question. They're a great team! Go there! You won't be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a large sectional sleeper last summer, and it was backordered. It finally came back in stock this spring, and I was notified immediately. Initially, I only paid a deposit to order the couch, and paid in full before it shipped. I loved having that option to just pay a deposit! As well, when it shipped, the shipping company was excellent! Called me to arrange a date and time for delivery, and even helped my husband offload it. As well, the couch was packaged SO well. It shipped from Ontario to Nova Scotia and arrived in perfect condition! I was very impressed. So much that I actually immediately ordered a second couch as soon as the first one arrived!
