Here is an update with the situation of the warranty information not being entered for my fast charger. Spoke with Alysha at Stephenson's on the phone this morning and she said the relevant warranty information would be submitted to Stihl by using her copy of the sales receipt. Thank you for your help Alysha and everyone else at Stephenson's Rental Services.

Original Posting:
Received $20.00 off from the manufacturer's suggested retail price for a Stihl AL 500 fast charger. Charger was delivered in a timely fashion.
Staff was friendly and courteous, and they waited patiently for me to come down and pick it up. (Three or four days elapsed before I finally did.)
Only thing is they didn't enter the Stihl warranty information in their computer as other Stihl retailers normally do. But maybe the charger wasn't expensive enough (it cost $150.00 Cdn). This is not a problem though. They gave me $20 off as previously mentioned and the service was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a chainsaw through airmiles and I picked it up at this location. The staff were fantastic ! So nice and helpful. Then I thought I'd left my drivers license there ( I hadn't after all ) but again the staff were so great. I hope their bosses realize what a wonderful group of guys they have working for them. I will be back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately you will not receive an adequate level of customer service experience. Unhelpful and unwilling staff. You will feel like you are "bothering" them when you call, ask questions or ask to look up an invoice to make a payment etc. Being in the construction industry one does not expect amazing service so my standards are even at its lowest level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a stihl blower from the cove last fall for the weekend, and their weekend policy is really good, call them for details. The blower was a little beaten up but what do you expect from a rental tool. The customer service was really good and the blower preformed amazingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a ladder from them to be delivered today by noon. When it failed to arrive I was advised that the driver had already been out and that no one was home and there was no car in the driveway, and that they had tried to call and someone else answered. Really.???..the car has been in the driveway the whole morning and my husband has been working in the garage with the garage door open ... As for the phone calls I was supposed to have received...not a single one. Either someone is lying or completely incompetent going to the wrong address and calling the wrong phone number. Either way not cool as I took the day off to do the work. The store on Kennedy on the other hand have been super to deal with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my employees called into the the eastern avenue office to request some equipment and was told he was out on a wait list and that someone would call him. He called into the next location a week later having received no call and was there are units available and it was strange he got no call. His details were taken and he was told he would be called back that day and again received no call. He finally called them today and was told no units are available. Terrible customer service and it seems either nobody knows what's going on or they just don't care.
