M	Monika Joslin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a die-hard Starbucks junkie but this location has consistently left me less than impressed. Not sure if they're still figuring out the logistics of this newer location, but the few times I've visited have been really disappointing. On the last visit we ordered a hot drink and cold drink - the hot drink came in good time, but 10+ people were served before we got the cold drink, and I had to ask twice to get them to make the frappuccino, which somehow kept getting lost amidst the other orders. Then they came out with the coffee cakes I'd ordered when I had already picked them up - and again, 15 minutes later. By the time we got the frappuccino my Mocha was lukewarm. The barista couldn't even be bothered to apologize for the delay, she treated us more like a pain than trying to rectify the situation. The new location itself is great, with more seating and a good layout. That said, I won't bother coming here again, definitely nowhere near the service we've come to expect from Starbucks. ?

You could even be standing near the plexi glass and they still won’t acknowledge you. It wasn’t until I approached the employee running the orders, Jennifer, to ask whether I ordered at the right Starbucks. She then just dryly told me it was at the other location without any apology. I understand that there are closing duties and you are trying to help as many customers prior to closing, but this all could have been avoided if the employees had acknowledged the customers who have standing in the waiting area for a long period of time. This is extremely annoying especially for people who might not go to Yorkdale that often and are unaware that there are two locations or which address is what.
