Convenient parking and location. Has wall the supplies you need, sometimes under staffed (that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars)

I have been using the print shop at Staples (store 48) since 2014 and usually have a decent experience. I have printed business cards, academic theses, and booklets (A community publication that I distribute for free). In Fall 2020 I printed 100 booklets with the help of a lovely man (a tall Nigerian man), who helped me through the entire process. The booklets ended up being around $1.75-$2 apiece and I received the order in 3 days. More recently, in March 2022, I went to print 200 booklets. This time a lovely associate named Kailea helped me create beautiful booklets for $1.69 apiece and I received the order in 2 days. Today, I visited the print shop to reprint 40 copies of the first booklet. Off the bat, the associate (Akash), was extremely standoffish and curt. I didn't think much of it since we all have off days. The trouble began when Akash insisted that I went online instead of using the print shop. I explained to Akash that I prefer doing my printing in person so that I can see a preview and ensure the booklets are printed correctly. I have never met someone who worked at a print shop that seemed to have such a disdain for...printing. He scoffed at me but obliged. I bought a copy of the booklet that I was looking to reprint for reference, along with the files on a USB drive. Akash informs me that to reprint the same booklets I had created in 2020, it would now cost me $8-$9 dollars a booklet (he actually changed the quote a few times, quoting me as high as $24 dollars a booklet at one point). I asked Akash why this rate was so radically different from the previous orders and he told me that both associates, who had helped me independent of each other, and 1.5 years apart were both wrong. After going back and forth a few times, I request the aid of a manager (a tall man with a beard and cool glasses). He was super helpful and I felt that perhaps everything was going to be ok, as he informed Akash that the rate he was quoting could be lowered (I believe we settled on $2.65 per booklet). After the manager left, Akash switches up and says that I won't be able to get that rate because of the paper type, even though I requested the same specs as the previous orders be used for the reprint. Eventually, after printing one completely botched sample--- It didn't even resemble a booklet and would have been a little funny if I hadn't dealt with this situation for an hour and forty-five minutes-- he tells me that he can just put an order online for me (at a rate of $2.40 per booklet), but that I won't get the paper I requested and it might take longer than usual. I left Staples physically shaking as a result of Akash's dismissive and passive-aggressive treatment. On top of that, I am worried that the booklets might not turn out properly as I couldn't see a sample and that I won't get them in time for an event on Friday. Simply put, I will never print anything at Staples again.

Not sure what the girls at the print shop are being paid for but I might as well be paid instead. My USB wasn’t working with the self service print machines so I asked why that might be and they both looked at me and were like β€œuuuh I don’t know” so I google it and figured it out , not to mention they could have told me there are like 3 other ways to print something from a file if the USB doesn’t work lol It gets better, I actually helped a customer who was struggling with the the paper slicer and didn’t wanna ask for assistance (I wonder why) hence why they might as well pay me . I mean if you don’t know that’s fine but to put in literally zero brain power or effort is just strange. 2 stars because the lady working checkout was kind and helpful.

Went there a few weeks ago looking for something specific. What I found was an employee that treated me like garbage. I asked if they had the new iPad and got scoffed at and disrespected. Secondly, an associate named Alexander had made some rude and explicit comments about my little sister whomst I was with. Completely unprofessional from Alexander. If I had any sense I would take this higher up but save yourself the trouble and avoid this employee at all costs!

Was looking for an item that I couldn't find in store despite being in stock online. Was worried the listing was wrong. Staff couldn't find it either until they realized it was inconveniently stored at the back of the store sealed in a storage box on top of a shelf. Helpful woman took the time to grab it and I appreciated that.

Amazing print shop! Very helpful even on last minute. Was told by a different staples there was no time to help. Came to this one and was able to get exactly what I needed with even less time.

Ordered a printer online, this store had one in stock. I tried to call three times to make sure they in fact had it in stock. No answer. Placed the order anyways. Four hours later someone calls me to say they sold the printer I ordered to somebody else, but that if I came down they could sell me the floor model. I asked if they could hold it until tomorrow, he said nope not if someone else came to buy it! Even though I had already paid for one..? I rush down to buy the floor model, guy who called isn’t here. Wait forty minutes for an associate. Figure you know what I’m gonna call from inside the store too. Phones don’t even ring! Is a waste of time too much of a compliment? Buy what you need from literally anywhere else. At least they won’t sell the item you already bought.

I hold my breath every time I have to go this Staples. There is always a lack of staff, whatever I need always takes forever. There is now a $2.99 service fee for printing online OR in the store. Today there was an hour wait for printing. The self serve machines print on cheap paper and there is no option for different paper. Sorry Staples, I’m done with you. I’ll definitely be finding another option. Please hire some staff, good lord it’s painful.
