A	Alessia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HORRIBLE and traumatic experience… I brought my six month toy poodle for a full groom there and half way through his grooming I got a horrific text message/video of my dog clearly in distress. His tongue was turning PURPLE and instead of trying to calm him down they decided to take MULTIPLE videos and reprimand me by saying they are “concerned” with my dog. This was ONLY his second groom that he has EVER had. I told him to do what they could and to let me know when they were finished. When I got there to pick up my pup NOT ONLY did he charge me EXTRA for the “complications” they faced they also POSTED A VIDEO of my dog on the company’s INSTAGRAM account WITHOUT MY CONSENT, the same video they sent me. They proceeded to say horrible things about my dog when I picked him up. My poodle was traumatized from this experience and would not let me touch his paws for well over a few months. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE going to this place.

It was really fantastic I could bring Blue back for grooming and day care. I have to emphasize that James is a professional, reliable and responsible dog groomer. And, he has such skill and talent with dogs. I also appreciate him sending me (separation anxiety mom) digital pictures and information while Blue was in his care.

Not to mention Huckleberry was very happy and relaxed when we picked him so I know they treated him wonderfully. I especially like how he wasn't crated on a wall with a bunch of other dogs when we picked him . Rather , he was in a safely barricaded area with another dog about his size and being closely monitored. Highly recommend!!

We can't even say the word "daycare" at home anymore because he gets too excited, thinking we are going to stanley bark! The team are all so great and we trust them looking after our Pup. James does a lovely groom and he uses such a beautiful smelling shampoo. Jade and the other team members are always great too and really keep us informed. We would recommend, your dog will be very well looked after and it is so nice having found a place that we can really trust.

The daycare is extremely well run and great care is taken to ensure that every dog is in a happy and healthy environment. As my puppy is quite young, they took him on a half day trial first to make sure he was going to fit in well and be compatible with the other dogs in their care. Now as soon as I approach their location, my puppy is pulling enthusiastically at his lead and he can't wait to get in the door! Thanks Jade for looking after him so well, and giving me a much needed break when needed! After taking my puppy elsewhere for grooming before I heard about Stanley Bark, he had one terrible and one so-so experience. After one grooming with James at Stanley Bark, my puppy has seriously never looked so good. What's more, James is very knowledgeable about the breed (a Portie) even though they aren't really common. As a result, we could have a meaningful discussion about what we wanted to achieve from the grooming and he explained what is typical for the breed. Further, he knew exactly how to handle their behaviour patterns which can be challenging and stubborn (but also delightful!) I urge anyone looking for a great daycare environment where they can leave their dog knowing they will be extremely well cared for, or an excellent and very knowledgeable groomer to go to Stanley Bark!

My Husky, Luna, can be a beast to groom but they did a spectacular job -trimmed in all the right spots and came out feeling so soft and fluffy, looking gorgeous as ever. They were exceptionally fast at communications and I appreciated them contacting me when they had a cancellation so we could get in earlier! And they had her in and out of the shop in 2 hours! Amazing work! Thanks James and team!
