★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible Vans! My hat and shoes got bleached within 3 weeks. Black contact points are bleached the f out and I only were them a few times a week. I've been skating and snowboarding and supporting Vans for over 20 years and sport check buys there products from overseas. No longer made in the USA. Garbage products! Buyer beware! Oh and my friend came in from Chili to buy Nike shoes and they looked like a 4 year old put them together. Terrible. Tired of people selling the name but not the actual product. Shame on you.!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son was looking for a skateboard and the selection was extremely limited for what we wanted. A sales associate came over to advise us, and when he realized that they didn’t offer a good selection for what we wanted, he suggested we go to a nearby location (also in the mall) where they had a lot more skateboards. Amazing! Sending a client to a competitor might sound negative to some “by-the-book” store manager, but I think it was brilliant. We felt that he put customer service above anything. We wanted to purchase a board today, not have something ordered in or be sent to another Sport Chek. Yes, he lost a relatively small purchase today, but he confirmed our opinion that Waterloo Sport Chek has great staff who understand that excellent customer service makes satisfied customers… and of course we will be back for other purchases. Just not for skateboards. ?

Me(internally) : you're killing me here "Stacey". It's literally written on the packaging for sizing purposes
Is this where we're at with PC? I can't even ask for something for a family member now?

Some other other retail employees weren't as helpful however a young woman by the name of Emily had a very upbeat and friendly attitude! Super attentive & made the shopping experience comfortable!!
