★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had two brand new fireplaces installed, plus direct venting set up and connection to new Fortis gas meter. Had great service, from Al who gave us a good introduction, to Roger who came over for appraisal and a quote, to Tessa that some how scrambled and somehow was able to fit us in whenever someone cancelled, and finally to Andy and his partner who did all the installations (retrofitting an older house is never simple and straightforward). Great service and great support. Another review mentioned about "overpriced". Not sure. We had a quote from another local outfit. The numbers were very comparable, but the knowledge and expertise was way superior with South Island., and we really appreciated the advice that we received. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ May be great at selling their product, but absolutely unprofessional when the installation develops a gas leak a week later ,and the concern of a possible dangerous situation was dismissed and handled rudely and without assuming any responsibility that was entirely theirs.
Never would I recommend this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A+++ Excellent customer service. Very friendly, greet you as soon as you walk in the door. I had my wood stove door in hand and they knew exactly the make and model at first glance.
Ordered me a bunch of parts to rebuild my wood stove, took my door and replaced the gaskets, parts arrived quickly with a pleasant phone call and the price was less then I was expecting!
Definitely an asset to the Cowichan Valley and I know where I'm going soon for my new BBQ!
