★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap place for what we got: a bedroom with a living room and kitchen with fridge. Most importantly this place comes with a washing machine and dryer inside the suite, as well as detergent pods ready to go.
Really helped as we were midway through our trip and needed to wash all our clothes. Would definitely come back if we had the chance.

We just wanted to leave a few comments about our stay at Solo Suites. WE ENJOYED IT! The room(s) was great and comfortable, the cleanliness was fantastic and so were the extras. We were surprised with the in suite laundry, but used it once. The staff were amazing and accomodating, especially with our first room glitch. All was taken care of in a courtious manner and with good timing. We have recommended this place to others and have told our Victoria friends that this is the place for their visitors to stay as most of them are in the Westshore. Thanks for making this an enjoyable experience! We just wanted to let you know how happy we are and knew you would appreciate a Kudos email.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for a month. The bed was perfect. Neighbours were quiet and the street noise wasn't bad at all. Helpful friendly staff - a big thank you to Frank and Michael. Immaculately clean rooms. When I arrived there were a few things missing from otherwise fully stocked kitchen and they were immediately provided. I did find the light coming through the tempered glass window in the doorway too bright at night for my liking, but luckily I had a dark coloured bath towel with me that I threw over top of the door and it worked great. I would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Executive King for 4 nights. Room was well equipped - coffee, pots, dishes, paper towel, dish soap etc. great wifi, big tv and huge windows. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was excellent and absolutely beautiful! It was easy to find and loads of parking. I enjoyed just arriving and going right to my assigned room. After a very long drive it was the perfect place to relax. Next time I want to stay on the island I am 100 percent chosing here again. I am a small town girl so it was nice being in a smaller area as it is super easy to get around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing treasure we found. We did not book a night anywhere for the last day of our weekend trip. We happen to call Solo Suites on our way from Tofino to Victoria area. The apartment is clean and spacious. The gentleman we spoke to on the phone was awesome and had us booked and in a room within 10 mins. Ample parking brightly lite area. Definitely recommend to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There wasn't a mattress protector on the bed, simply a sheet over top of the mattress.
No bed side light.
The heater/ac unit could use some instructions, as the remote is a bit vague.
The washer dryer unit takes hours to run a load. I'm at about 2 hours now to dry.
And then the door! The lock worked fine the first day, no problems! 2nd day, it wouldn't work for me. After repeated attempts, i called their main line, left a message. Waited a while, called the 1-888#, and found a different recording that told me to call the after hours emergency number. Called that number, left a message. Emailed, left a message. I'm at an hour so far with no response from them.
Not impressed. The after hours response time needs improving.
But, it's Victoria, you get what you pay for, if you can even get a vacancy. Over-rated town if you ask me.
