β β β β β Had a great experience with them. Bought new skis and boots for the missus and I. My wife being a former racer had very specific needs for both skis and boots. She wanted something powerful and damp. They suggested some Stocklis (laser AX). For boots the missus is also very discerning but, due to some health issues, has been struggling to find the right foot. We worked with JF whose patience and knowledge have really helped her address the boot issues sheβs been facing for a couple years.
As for me, not quite as advanced a skier as the missus in my abilities, JF was able to help me get into new boots and fit them properly for me. Super comfortable, super light, and give me the stiffness I need for someone my size and abilities. As for skis, on his advice I went for a wider and stiffer ski than I normally would (Stockli Stormrider 105). Iβm 6β5 and 225lbs. Recognizing this he knew that the way a ski performs for me isnβt going to be the same for an averages sized skier. So he suggested slightly shorter length than what someone my height would normally ski. I havenβt looked back. Most fun Iβve had on skis since G1 Blizzard Bonafides.
We were so impressed with knowledge, service, and selection. I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for new gear.

Brought in 2 pair of skis for tune up on a Thursday and asked if they would ready by Saturday morning as had to be in town then. Was told βabsolutelyβ. Arrived and not even started. Maybe train staff to not make promises they cannot keep. Took skis & going elsewhere

Mountain Division didnβt sell me a pair of ski boots - they found the boots that were perfect for me. The process was both precise and personal. My feet were scanned, measured and analyzed - then a number of boot candidates were selected to be tried on and compared. Once the perfect boot was found it was then moulded and adjusted. Iβm beyond impressed with how much care went into my boot fitting process. The result is a boot that I can ski in comfortably all day, and a Mountain Division customer for life.

Finally a place where I can feel my needs are fulfilled with only the best gear available. So nice to get your hands on the products and see them before your eyes. β β β β β I had a phenomenal experience getting fitted for new snowboard boots today with Jered, the in-house snowboard guy at Ski West. Even over the phone, he knew exactly what I was looking for, but he easily spent an hour or more with me, letting me try on everything else to compare as well. I was originally going to go to the source to check out some other options, but decided against it ultimately as Jered genuinely put in the time and effort to make sure I had the perfect boots. Itβs rare to get personalized service like this nowadays, so I strongly recommend paying Ski West a visit.
