About Silver Threads
Kirby has been sewing for over 20 years and has been doing alterations since 2008. With education in Fashion and Theatre Design, she knew for a while she wanted to open a store front for her alteration business and is happy to see her dream come to life with The Alteration Shoppe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed, whatever these lady’s did has ruined my thousand dollar leather jacket, stitching is not straight and the ends aren’t trimmed, and really looks like a 12 year old did it. Not to mention the high vis print on the jacket is now lifting in areas... this coat has never been worn yet and I’m very disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These ladies do great work. Clearly tons of experience in that store. Couldn’t believe the amount of emergency services, military uniforms. If all these people are coming here to get their stuff fixed tells me there’s a lot of trust for good work being done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here instead of my usual place in Cardston - was let down at how sloppily the job was done on a pair of leggings. Sewn in such a way that it stretched out my fabric, leaving it to easily get holes again. I was extremely disappointed that instead of fixing my clothing, they made it worse. Would not return here.
