Edit - I will say that the guys in the shop were great - especially the commercial guys. It's being ignored from behind the counter that rubbed me the wrong way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although I’ve never written a review before, I feel compelled to acknowledge the outstanding service I experienced at Sidney Tire about a month ago. After my car battery unexpectedly died while coming across on the ferry, I was in a hurry to get a replacement in order to meet a time-sensitive appointment up north. It was a hot day, I had a large dog with me that doesn’t do well in unfamiliar situations, and I was just just passing through and didn’t know the Sidney area. After stopping by 3 other mechanic shops who were not able to help me, I went to Sidney Tire. Although they were busy, Mike Pearson, the service advisor, took the time to listen to my situation. He and the team kindly squeezed in my car and he personally drove across town to get a necessary part. They welcomed my dog into the cool shop and gave him a mug of cold water. Another employee sat with my dog and gently helped calm his nerves while I took care of payment. We were back on the road within an hour. I am sincerely grateful for the excellent service I experienced at Sidney Tire and highly recommend them. Thank you for not only competently and quickly fixing my car, but also for extending kindness and empathy to me and my dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are great! Dan found the tires I needed and had them here next day. The morning I was going to drop the car off my spare went flat and the owner himself came and saved me. Swapped the tire for me on the spot and got me on my way. Thanks guys! Great work! 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a bolt stuck in a tire just as we came over on the ferry for a vacation to the island. Worried about a slow puncture or worse! Sidney Tire were the only people who said we could drop in.
Turns out the bolt might just have been the head, but they checked the tire for us and confirmed we were good to go at almost no notice or charge!
Whilst we didn't end up having any work done, the piece of mind was priceless, and everyone was so friendly and helpful, that if I'm ever in the area I'd use them without hesitation!
