★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a 'saddle library' session for my partner to find a seat for her new bike. The Saddle Library appointment is something that I have not seen offered at other bike shops in Vancouver and essentially lets you try as many of the saddles as you want. Part of the booking fee goes towards paying the saddle which is great.
Cassey and Lucia patiently helped us for more than 2 hours taking on and off over 5 different seats as well as letting us test ride them around the block adjusting each one to our liking (fore/aft position & angle). The staff was very knowledgeable about narrowing down the saddle options to one that eventually was perfect for my partner.
Would highly recommend investing in this session if you are struggling to find a saddle that suits your butt and want to save the time of running back and forth between bike shops buying and returning seats each time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years of going through bikes and never finding something that I was truly happy with, I am thrilled to have made my recent purchase through Sidesaddle. The staff are very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and passionate.
I filled out their online questionnaire and I was so impressed with the detailed, personal response I received. Despite being super busy due to the recent bike boom, they were so patient in answering my questions and guiding my decision.
They suggested doing a bike fitting with me which was very helpful since we realized that I have quite an unusually proportioned body. This helped them find the perfect bike that is custom fitted for me.
After a couple days riding, I am so happy with my decision. I finally feel like I have a bike that feels right for me. I can't believe I didn't go to them sooner.
If you're like me and you've had difficulty finding the right bike, you must go to Sidesaddle! Truly some of the best service I've ever received.

Although I did not end up purchasing a bike there ( only due to availability ) It was a great experience and I will stop in for anything else bike related that I need in the future

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in the market for a gravel bike and stumbled upon Sidesaddle's bike survey where they help match you up with the bike of your dreams/ budget etc. I didn't end up getting a gravel bike from them but thought I'd support local and liked how swift of a reply I got from the bike survey so I brought my road bike in. professional and honest work; and my road bike rides so smooth! thanks sidesaddle team! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times. The last tune up ($280) they wrecked my bike. Went back for a warranty fix and they wrecked it again. Ended up getting brand new parts.
Sad to see the quality of work isn’t what Sidesaddle used to be.
Update:
Sidesaddle called me at 9pm on a Saturday and asked me to remove this post.
It is quite the invasion of privacy to access my phone number on my profile to sensor their reviews.
I wish Sidesaddle the best, they got some cool stuff and some very nice people that work there. But unfortunately my experience has come to a bitter end.

Andrea quickly shot me an email recommending their sister shop Flat Fix had stock and that she would cc my request. After confirming a successful purchase we touched base and she was very encouraging. I really need to stop by Sidesaddle now (with my new bike). Thank you for the help Andrea!
