S	Shushan startoflifeshushva StArtofLife on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it was too expensive. $30 for changing the tube on my child's stroller. ($20 for the service and $8 for the tube). The whole service took 4 minutes. I also wish I knew ahead of time. It caught me off guard as never got charged more than $8 for changing the tube and $8 for work. Some places did not even charge for the work at all. The person changing it did a great job, but the other person who took over to accept the payment, did not seem very transparent. They said each tube changing would be $30 if I decide to do 3. It would be $90. strange. The same person also did a waiver over the phone that they might not repair the stroller if it has assemblying issue, but as I said it was simple, 4 minute work. I really hope They (the payment processing person) were not personal, but it felt like it....

The rates are fairly affordable, the staff is super friendly, the booking process is easy to use and efficient (this is super important for me - the fact they invested in a tool that lets me view availabilities and times to book is super important because honestly I'd rather not have to call someone to book an appt these days), and the turn around time is quick and I usually get my bike within the day. I also wanted to add - I was on the way downtown on the greenway and stopped to adjust my saddle height. The screw snapped and I was pretty much out of luck. Luckily I was quite near Sidesaddle and hopped in, and the employee not only helped me take out the screw, but found and put one on for me free of charge. So in conclusion, they have my business for life. Thanks for reading!
M	M Rod on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After calling several bike shops across town to find a specific bike (which was basically out of stock during these tough supply chain times) I wasn't hopeful to find it. Luckily, Flat Fix had a few! I was helped by Lucy and she advised to come down right away and test them. The best part was being encouraged to have an in-depth discussion about my needs and goals including testing other bikes to be sure I made the right choice. In the end, I was extremely happy in my purchase knowing it was a thought-out process. I believe they went above and beyond that day to make it a pleasant experience or maybe they just love what they do. I actually can't wait to go back in for followup service. Thank-you Lucy for your knowledge and especially pleasant demeanor! Shout outs to Kiefer as well!
R	Rick Koberinski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased some awesome tires from this shop. The only shop in the country that actually had 24x2.0 tanwall Billy Bonkers in stock. After only about a week of riding however, I was abruptly woken at 4am when one of the tires decided to stretch and blow itself up …obviously a manufacturer defect but since my purchase was only two weeks ago I thought I’d call. The lady who answered the phone was polite but then I got passed onto a manager and was then accused of causing the damage myself and told that they would not accept returns on tires that have been seated on a rim. Definitely lost any future business from me for how I spoken to. If you’re reading this then I sincerely suggest that you shop elsewhere, find a shop that stands behind their products and appreciates their customers, because flatfix does not!

Everything from the friendliness of the staff, their knowledge, to the way they keep my bikes on the road has always been perfect. If they don’t have something they point out another shop that does. My last bike that went in went for a whole group set change and it’s the bar tape job on my oddly shaped bar that I keep looking at. I can put bar tape on, but never this good on these bars. ?‍♂️ My 2011 ten speed is now an eleven. Ready for ten more years
