I wish I could give zero stars for the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve had in years. I went to the pharmacy with my toddler on Monday morning to get her a flu shot. I checked the Shoppers website ahead of time and it said this location has flu shots in stock and they accept walk-ins for flu shots. When I asked the lady working in the pharmacy about this, she told me they don’t have them in stock and they do flu vaccines on Wednesdays, so I said β€œYour website says you have them in stock” and, in an annoyed tone, she repeated the exact same thing again so I asked β€œYou only do flu shots on Wednesdays? Your website says you accept walk-in patients” and, without hesitation, she immediately called the next customer in line!!! I was absolutely shocked at her complete disregard for my questions and experience with their store. I’m in customer service and I would never treat someone like this! How about β€œI’m sorry about that. Our website says that? I’ll look into it and make sure we update it.” She must be fed up of people asking about flu shots. Don’t worry, I won’t set foot in your store again.

I'd give negative remarks if i could. Just read ppl reviews below mostly 1 star. My doctor gave them a prescription for my blood pressure pills and this shopper drug Mart had some clarification to ask from my doctor they sent them a fax and doctor gave her comments on their paper and return it back to them, the pharmacist kept on sitting for three weeks for another clarification from the doctor because she could not read the doctors handwriting and did not follow up or call them at all. I came here two days before and they told me they have never received any clarification from the doctor; today I called the doctors office and they sent them the same reply again with clarification and when I'm here to pick up my medicine now the pharmacist is telling me that they cannot read doctors handwriting n i have to talk to my doctor what's the doze. I questioned the pharmacist why in 3 wks no one from shoppers called the doctors office? I'm a blood pressure patient n i had been waiting to get my med. what if i had a stroke in these 3 weeks just coz they couldn't read doctors handwriting. Very poor service and big time negligence. She still asked me that she's giving me 2 days med n i have to call my doctor instead she was supposed to call the doctor again tomorrow herself. Then she got offended n asked me should she give me 2 days med or not? Like seriously! If you're offended you'll not give me my medication!? I highly do not recommend this place to get medicines. Very irresponsible and unprofessional staff. They think they are doing customers a favour!

This Pharmacy has the worse customer service!! U went to drop off a prescription and had me waiting almost 15 mins, the blonde lady behind the counter saw me twice and didn't even acknowledge me. Looking at the reviews it makes sense why this Shoppers has very lower ratings probably due to the Pharmacy, the owner should look at how his business is run, for the rest of the Shoppers Drugs they are great but the Pharmacy side need a lot of work in customer service.

By far the worst pharmacy I've experienced in canada so far. They never answer the phone. I've called them from home, waited for thirty min, drove while still on the phone and walked to the pharmacy listening to the phone ring, watching the staff ignored the phone. Five to seven people working and only one staff member at the pick up line. I've recieved the wrong prescriptions twice. The staff isn't the problem, its the owner or whomever is in charge. Expected wait time for pick up is anywhere between 20 to 40 min in line.

It’s always ridiculously busy at this pharmacy so be prepared to wait and wait. I try to go late at night or first thing in the morning to avoid this but you’ll still wait. This morning while the pharmacist was chatting with a coworker I waited, and waited, and waited. The assistant came out of the back room looked at me and went back, so I waited some more. I only got served when I said β€œexcuse me” to interrupt their personal chat - that was after waiting more than ten mins and I was the only customer there. All the while the phone is ringing and no one is answering that either. I will no longer use this pharmacy this was beyond bad customer service this morning.

Very upset about the pharmacy service. I was told I’ll be contacted once the prescription is ready by a time. When I didn’t receive the call from them, I tried calling but was put on hold for more than 15 mins twice. Went in person to pick it up and they told me it was ready two hours ago. Asked why they didn’t inform us or attend the calls, replied that they were busy. 3-4 staffs were there and no one could pick up the calls!!!! At the end, she asked whether I want to register for text messages to get notification when medicine is ready. Seriously? After I came in person and got the medicine? Poor customer service.

The pharmacists have serious attitude issues. Can't answer the simplest question like the difference between 2 types of Tylenol. Asked me to go to the consulting section when I was the only person at the pharmacy and she was the only pharmacist at the counter. I mean does that window give special knowledge when standing there OR they get an idea what the difference is OR they just act in their little world of "I'm the king/queen in this section?" They never are reachable by phone no matter how many times you get routed. Just to see if they are really busy, I was standing right in front of the pharmacy and called in, no one answered the phone; there were 3 pharmacists and no customers! The waiting game is really strong here. If someone was in real pain or need of something, they would make sure they would die of it! Same experience as other customers, too much wait and would unnecessarily show that they are the busiest people in the world! Another experience is that you would have to follow up with the pharmacy,IN PERSON, to follow up on a request sent out to your doctor's office (since they don't pick up the phone). I had a code been sent back to the pharmacy and I was told that I will get a call. 5 days later after going back to the pharmacy they tell me that they had received the next day.. So, not sure what they were waiting for.. Christmas? I have already changed the pharmacy! Never going to go back to this one! I usually give a couple of chances since sometimes people are having a bad day, but this is ridiculous. It's the same experience over and over. UPDATE: as of May 20, 2022 Nothing has changed. Attitude still arrogant. Still can't answer basic questions and if they carry a particular medicine. Rather they stopped wearing badges to avoid call outs. No use calling shoppers helpline provided since they too have long wait times. Funny that the long wait times never end either in store nor on the customer support line. On other reviews they just say, 'thank for sharing to help improve'.. improve what? Influx of reviews? Cause we still don't see any improvement in customer service; it still sucks! Go to recall. At least they have better service!

Absolutely the worst shoppers drug mart I have ever been to. The pharmacy and its staff should be sent for training on how to provide average customer support. On multiple multiple multiple times our medications are not ready for pickup after being informed that they are. I spent 30-35 mins waiting to pickup my medication for my son. It took another customer in line to ask for another individual that was behind the med counter to come to the front to provide assistance. The lineup was all the way back to cosmetics. I will be reaching out to the district manager of this location and asking what is going on here as this was not an isolated case rather the norm at this location and the attitude of the workers in the pharmacy seem not to be bothered by it. If I could give 0 or less I would in terms of a rating.
