This is the conversation I just had over the phone with one the pharmacy team members regarding RATs: Do you have any free RATs available...? NO. um, do you have any RATs for sale...? NO. do you know if there might be some coming in anytime?. No idea. Bye. Did I call the right #? Why do you even have a phone # listed if this is the type of customer service you care to provide?

I just called the pharmacy to find out if I could get the vaccine for COVID-19 piferzer. Very rude response. First answer I got was no. Then the next I don't know. Why do you have a phone, if you have not telephone manners or customer service quality. Don't answer the phone. Terrible experience. Sad to say it's a terrible for employer to team member having stuck up attitude ?

Staff is rude at the pharmacy. They always promised to deliver but never on time. When enquire about it so rude on the phone. If they can’t keep the promised why they are providing this services. I’ll change the pharmacy and will not recommend to anyone.

Do you hate the zipping speeds of todays modern medicine? Do you feel getting a prescription too quickly will compromise it’s quality? Look no further than the Shoppers Pharmacy in Walden! Not only can they not process prescription requests directly from your doctor due to technical issues, their phones are often disconnected or ring endlessly. Has it been over 48 hours since your persciption was submitted and you’re wondering where your medicine is? Try emailing them. You will receive old school apologies mixed with millennial defeatism. Basically nothing will change. The phones still won’t work, your prescription still won’t be filled and you can sit and in and think about how we sent people to the moon but can’t get the telephones to work. So if you have a physical doctors prescription and you have the time to sit and wait in store for it using that 30-40 minutes to reminisce about the good old days This is the pharmacy for you! If however, you need your prescription in a timely manner, check out any of the other nearby pharmacies like Save on Foods, Remedy’s RX, Sobeys in Legacy, where the wait time is less than 24 hours and the phones work.

Very frustrated. I am not the type to do google reviews, but I am beyond angry with the experience I had today and in the past. I let the one in the past go, but not this. I will be removing my prescriptions from this pharmacy. 1st time: I took in 3 prescriptions and told them there’s two on one paper and one on the other i need both on the paper with two and the other one to go on file. They told me it would be an hour, so I decided to give them 2. I go back to find out neither had yet been filled and it would be another hour. So I go back again an hour and a half later to only have one of two filled they then told me it would be another twenty minutes to fill the second so I stood and waited for it. This in itself is ridiculous 2nd time: I have Covid and am starting to have breathing problems so my dr faxed over an ASAP for an inhaler. I called and asked to be called when it was ready as the only person who could go get it for me would be on bicycle. After two hours I called and they said they didn’t have it, and told me to call my dr(even though they can call the office). I then called my dr and the receptionist faxed it while on the phone with me. I called the shoppers back and after being on hold for 10 minutes they told me they once again did not have it and that there was nothing they could do more. They can call drs offices for these things, and I cannot legally leave home because I’m positive. I had to resort to having the person picking it up bike all the way to the drs and then bike to the shoppers to get it filled. The drs even called the shoppers which when questioned by the person picking up for me they denied and didn’t have any answers as to why they didn’t do anything on their end. Just ignored her. After 4 1/2 hours I finally had my prescription.

Been coming here for years- excellent, friendly service and clean. Pharmacy can be a wait if going during peak times (but not more than any other pharmacy). Please though, save your money on Shoppers’ products. They’re decent, but extremely marked up. E.g., over-the-counter meds can be more than 5x as expensive as Costco for the exact same product.

I am giving them 2 stars because of their extended hours, otherwise I wouldn’t rate them that high. I have found the pharmacy staff to be friendly enough, but I have had issues with my prescriptions and have decided to switch pharmacies. 1 - doctor increased dosage on my medication and I had to fight to get my prescription refilled. 2 - another time a specialist called in a prescription to be filled, I waited a couple of days then phoned the pharmacy to see if they had received it and was told no. I then called the specialist only to find out they had sent it over the same day of my appointment. I called back to the pharmacy to find out they didn’t fill it because the drug was expensive and they wanted confirmation from the doctor that this was to be filled. Now….why wouldn’t Shoppers have just called me??? 3 - dropped off prescriptions that I wanted filled within a couple of days. Called the next day to see if I could get one of them sooner. They couldn’t find my prescription at first, but after being put on hold for a few minutes they found it and it was explained that there was a mix up. I understand that they are a very busy pharmacy so I usually provide a day or two lead time, but I find it discouraging as I’ve had all of these issues within the past year.
