Shoppers Drug Mart

Always big line up at post office, worst place to go for post services. Been waiting in line at the post office for thirty minutes. So far only two customer has been served. Absolutely useless. Only one staff, they need at least 2 staff there. I gave one star because I can't leave zero stars.

I experienced a terrible experience while at the Canada Post in Shoppers because of the clerk that was there, Therese. When asking about the insurance coverage for my package, which I have no knowledge of, she did not bother to explain to me how it worked but instead was extremely unkind & impatient. She got visibly irritated that I was asking her so many questions as if expecting me to already know, then proceeded to rush me because there were other customers waiting. Went away still not knowing how the insurance worked because she never bothered to explain. I have never felt so disrespected & undervalued as a customer before. I won't be returning to this place.

The female pharmacist was rude and refused help. Transfered my large account to another pharmacy.

I have been a customer of the pharmacy here for many years. I have always had amazing service and in particular have had the opportunity of being personally assisted by Jason and Nick on numerous occasions. All I can say is I have been nothing but impressed with the knowledge and professionalism shown by all the pharmacy team members. They always go above and beyond anytime it's required. I don't usually do reviews but I have had such great service consistently I thought I should do so. I am also trying to make a point of letting people know that they're appreciated more often. It's important to let people know when they are doing a great job. I have never been disappointed as far as service at this Shoppers Drug Mart.

One pharmacist is so rude and condescending. It’s very upsetting to be spoken to in such a manner. His assistants always so personable however.

Pharmacy made me wait twice as long as the initial time promised. Eh, promises are made to be broken. Noticed that for the entire store (especially the one barely restocked/taken by consumers/bottom shelves) is covered with a layer of dust. This also includes the books and magazines.

This shoppers sucks, they never have my prescriptions ready, one time they tried telling me I never called them? Their post office is 50/50 some staff are great, others have no idea what they are doing.

Terribly incompetent, poorly-trained, and uncaring Canada Post counter. The worst I've ever encountered. Had a family member take an international shipment here. The international address confused the counter agent, and I had to talk to them on the phone to educate them on the fact that some international address formats are not the same as Canada, and explain what each section represented so that they could fumble their way inputting it into the system. While still on the phone, this agent then provided me with 3 shipping prices and options ALL with tracking. Family member returned with receipt and there was NO tracking number and no copy of the customs declaration. I called the counter back within the hour, asking where the tracking number was, and the counter agent lied saying "there is no tracking," despite having just spoken with them and authorizing a $60+ shipment charge to get the tracking I needed. Who would pay $60+ for no tracking? (For comparison purposes, after this incident, I shipped two items from the Canada Post counter at the nearby Independent, one locally for Ottawa and one destined for Vancouver. Both were automatically given tracking without my asking). I then asked them to pull the package before it got lost somewhere over or on the Pacific (I paid for Air Mail but without tracking, how do I know it wasn't sent by sea/surface) so all could be corrected. They said that the package was already gone. Within the hour? I find that hard to believe. I asked what could be done, and, was told "I can't help you. You'll have to call Canada Post." No remorse, no admission even of "oh I'm sorry, I must have missed that while I was so confused by an international address." Terrible customer service. I could name the counter agent here, but this is a training issue, and management should be held accountable. Great experience with pharmacy especially through the pandemic, and excellent service from floor CS staff at this store, but the Canada Post counter drags everything down.
