I live across the street, so this location is convenient for me to go to for my prescriptions. That being said, there is one or two female pharmacists that are kind, however the rest of the staff are extremely rude. Why do they have to have bad behaviour? I work in customer service as well & if I treated someone the way they have treated me time after time, I would be fired in an instant. How difficult is it to say hello & goodbye? How hard is it to not cut someone off when they are talking? Simple things, yet are so difficult for the men working at this location. One of these days someone will film it, & it will go viral, then you will be coming & apologizing when your customers turn on you but by that point it will be far too late. Have some common decency & empathy for people. It really is not that hard to be a kind human.

This is the worse drugstore I have ever been to. The pharmacist is always rude, impatient and unprofessional. Go fill your prescriptions somewhere else. There are 14 other review saying the exactly the thing about the exact same pharmacist. All shoppers do is to copy and paste the same we are sorry to hear response but doesn’t take a genius to figure it out there is a problem at this location and nothing has been done to address it.

We were refused service by the old pharmacist. He said "he is too busy" so try again tomorrow.. He started yelling at my girlfriend because she was talking too slowly. After trying to work towards a solution I was interrupted multiple times and then given a cold shoulder. He wouldn't even go and look to see if they had our prescriptions in stock. We have been going here for 2 years and most times we are in the store waiting for prescriptions the pharmacist gets into an argument with customers. Will be moving to another Shoppers. I'm surprised this man child has not been fired.

Completely disappointed with how the Pharmacist dealt with my purchase for a medication that is specific to Women. I have reached out to customer service. I work in healthcare and I don't want another Woman to have the same experience as I did. I am looking for contact information to provide more details about my experience. Women deserve the right to pick up medication without feeling embarrassed or singled out.

I switched from Shoppers on Lonsdale to this Shoppers on Marine Dr as it was much easier to find parking. However, after 1 year of this place I am returning to Lonsdale pharmacy. Everytime I see my Dr. and get my prescriptions refilled the Marine Drive pharmacy fills the entire prescription which spans months and 4 different prescriptions amounting to hundreds of dollars. When I went to pick up my prescriptions and complained to the elderly pharmacist that this was too much at one time. I wanted them spread out over several months. He was extremely rude and told me they assumed I wanted everything filled at once. As well, I was told ....oh well...you would have had to pay for it sometime. Other pharmacies have always asked what amounts I would like and get refills over time. Making it much easier for this senior to manage my expenses. This happened before but not to this degree. I reluctantly paid the bill and left. I will never return to this store or pharmacy.

My rating is towards the elderly Pharmacist, Dave. I've never had a pleasant encounter with this gentleman. He is brash and does not even treat the storefront people with respect. Always in a foul mood and mumbles. We had a prescription sent via online consultation yesterday. We called repeatedly but nobody picked up. Dave was the only staff there and berated me for not signing up my daughter (the prescription was for her but she never ordered it thru this location) He kept saying he never got the order and demanded to know which fax the online doctor sent it to (which is not privy to me) Then questioned whether I sent it to the right location. I show him the email confirmation but he still scoffed. Then he goes back to the bin and finds my daughter's prescription request. Embarrassed, he again berates me for not signing my daughter up and that now he needs to do it manually (all it is requires him to take down my daughter's info) After making a huge deal out of this, he tells me to wait 10mins. Then for the 1st time, he escorted us to the main cash register as he said we cannot pay at the Pharmacy station (1st time for me) The cash register was not occupied so Dave hit the bell very loudly and mumbled something to the storefront staff rudely. Even she didn't understand what he said. He storms off back to the Pharmacy station. This individual certainly gives a negative experience at an otherwise good storefront. I understand he's all by himself but its a Sunday and we were more than happy if he told us that he has not processed the prescription instead of trying to blame us. The location is convenient and the other store front staff are all nice and helpful. I only caution when encountering Dave the Pharmacist. I will probably write the storefront review for this Shoppers Drug Mart to balance out the review.

I went to this location (Marine Drive, North Vancouver) the other day looking for something specific in the Beauty Department. To my great delight, I received excellent customer service from a beauty advisor named, Cody. Oh my ... lucky me! I can say with enormous confidence that Cody is a very special person and such a valuable asset to Shoppers Drug Mart. It's rare to walk away after such a great customer experience that it stays with you for days. I hope Corporate, and those in Management, understand how fortunate they are to have her on their team. I also hope they are paying attention and have identified Cody as 'one of their best' and will do whatever they need to do to hang on to her and raise her through the ranks. She's definitely worth it. I've been in beauty business management for more years than I care to count, and although I've been retired for a long time ... I can still spot a superstar from a mile away. It's a rare treat to be helped by someone who represents her company well, loves her job, knows her products, and is comfortable enough to let her personality shine ... well, that's Cody. Awesome experience, will make a point of shopping there whenever I need something special. Thank you, Cody!

I’ve been using this pharmacy since I moved to Vancouver around 15 years ago. They are fast, kind, and legitimately knowledgeable about the pharmaceuticals (as they should be, but they are highly intelligent/detail oriented here). Taking the energy to leave a negative review instead of volunteering, spending time with people that matter, and/or having compassion that no one is doing anything wrong on purpose is the only concerning thing I see in these comments! This is my family and friends favourite pharmacy. All of the staff are so helpful and understanding. They take their time to make sure you’re comfortable with the medication as opposed to just dispensing. Very refreshing and reasonable.!
