A	Amy Nguyen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friends and I decided to walk around Mt Pleasant as it was a nice day and we found this sushi place. Apparently, Shibuie just opened less than a month. This is not a place for you to stuff your tummy with food but it's a place for you to enjoy the food, your company and the conversation. Great place to hang out! One unique thing about Shibuie is their soysauce is homemade so the taste is lighter, more flavour when you compare with other regular places. I definitely will come back to try other items on their menu. Updated: Shibui has a Sake flight and it's amazing. You have 3 different type of Sake that can't find from LCBO or other restaurants. Spend time here for V-day and their set is pretty awesome. Come with an empty tummy because the portion is huge.

T	TK on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now I don't want to call out by name any of the other top notch sushi places I have eaten at, but this is the best sushi in the city I have found by a country mile. The product is so consistently superb that I have infinite confidence when I order from here that I am receiving potentially the best sushi in the city. There is nothing on this menu that has ever disappointed me, and the staff is so helpful, kind, and friendly, that I would be underselling them simply calling them superb.
L	Lumberjake on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far my favourite sushi restaurant to eat from anywhere in Toronto now. The menu has some nice twists to what you might find at a regular sushi joint, from the shibui roll to the choosing of your own sake glass. The service is the best anywhere north of Lake Ontario. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind to my pregnant wife, as well as when we had come back to eat with our newborn. I cannot state enough how much I appreciate and enjoy the food, service and drink. Cannot wait to see the staff when everything is open again!

The servers were excellent and kind, and the kitchen staff/chef were professional. The manager was also there working and I was able to learn more about the food. I highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone visiting the area!

For sushi, the fish lacks sweetness and the rice was a bit dry. We ordered the black cod saikyo and it was quite sweet with a raw alcohol smell. Overall food was not great but service was attentive and warm.
